Fast forward 15 years and maternity units across the country cannot recruit enough midwives and are dealing with DAILY staffing challenges. Now ask yourself why CQC found more than half of maternity units were inadequate or requires improvement 🤔 Wish the context would be shared

I qualified as a midwife 18 years ago, back then MW jobs in the NHS were few and far between. In fact, my temp contract expired while I was on mat leave 15 years ago and there was no job for me to return to, I was unemployed for 6 months! 1/2

@oasis @Ticketmaster @Twickets By 10:40 yesterday after there being 20600+ people in front of me for Saturday 12th July when the sale opened, I was through to buy tickets. Repeatedly selected every ticket option over a 50 minute period with no tickets available every time, before @TicketmasterUK threw me off!
