Since it's Sunday, I thought I would share this photo of this really cool church door. St. Edward's Parish Church in Stow-on-the-Wold, England, is famous for its enchanting north door framed by two ancient yew trees. Many visitors believe it may have inspired J.R.R. Tolkien's Doors of Durin at the entrance to the Mines of Moria in The Lord of the Rings. Tolkien was known to spend time in the Cotswolds while at Oxford, but no definitive evidence has ever confirmed the connection. The church itself dates back to the 12th century and showcases architectural elements from the medieval period through Victorian restorations.

This is one of the most beloved paintings in America, and it puts its finger on something we all pass through, first as the child, and one day as the parent left behind... The painting is Breaking Home Ties, by Norman Rockwell, on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post in 1954. A father and his teenage son sit side by side on the running board of a battered farm truck, waiting at a railway stop. A single track runs along the bottom of the picture. A ticket pokes from the boy's pocket. His suitcase is stacked with schoolbooks and wears a "State U" pennant. The train is coming to carry him off to college, away from home, for the first time in his life. Everything is in the way they sit. The son sits upright, scrubbed and dressed in his best, eyes fixed on the horizon, on the track, on the future rushing toward him. He is already half gone. For him that train is the beginning of everything. His father sits beside him in worn work clothes and scuffed boots, looking the other way, down the line, as if he cannot bear to watch it arrive. The same train means the opposite thing to him. For the son it is the start of a life. For the father it is the day the house grows quieter, the chair at the table sits empty, and the person he built his world around walks out into a life that no longer has him at its centre. Look at his hands. He is holding two hats. His own battered one, and resting on top of it, his son's crisp new one, held carefully together, because it is the last small thing he can still do for the boy... And then the dog, its head laid in the son's lap, gazing up, refusing to look away. Rockwell knew exactly what that was for: "The father couldn't show how he felt about the boy's leaving," he said. "The dog did." It has moved people for 70 years because every leaving is a beginning for one person and an ending for another. The child steps out into the world, as they should. And someone stays behind, watching them go, and loving them enough to let them go anyway...

They surfaced from their final dive… and the boat was gone. January 25, 1998 St. Crispin’s Reef, Great Barrier Reef. American couple Tom Lonergan, 33, and Eileen Lonergan, 28 — experienced divers, recent Peace Corps volunteers, married 10 years — had just finished exploring the coral on their own. When they came up, the MV Outer Edge was nowhere in sight. The crew had done a faulty headcount. No one noticed the missing couple. No one noticed the two empty tank slots or the weight belts left behind. The boat simply headed back to Port Douglas. It took two full days before anyone realized Tom and Eileen were still in the water. A massive air and sea search found nothing of them. But the ocean eventually gave up pieces of their story: • Tom’s buoyancy vest, marked with his name • One of Eileen’s fins • A torn wetsuit • And the most haunting find of all — a dive slate that washed ashore months later, written in their own hand: “Monday Jan 26; 1998 08am. To anyone who can help us: We have been abandoned on Agincourt Reef by MV Outer Edge 25 Jan 1998 3pm. Please help to rescue us before we die. Help!!!” They had survived at least one night. After that… silence. Their bodies were never found. The coroner ruled they died from drowning, exposure, or shark attack. The skipper was charged with manslaughter and acquitted. The dive company admitted negligence and later shut down. Extra notes that still haunt people: Diaries recovered from their belongings contained dark personal entries — Eileen had written that Tom had a “death wish” and hoped for a quick, painless end. Investigators looked hard at the possibility of suicide or a pact. The coroner rejected it. The official conclusion remained the same: they were left behind by accident… and the sea took them. This real nightmare later inspired the movie Open Water. Two experienced divers. One bad headcount. A desperate message that arrived too late. Would you have kept swimming, or held onto hope that the boat would come back? True story based on News & official records

For those who are griping about Republicans in Congress during President Trump's 2nd term, here's what the GOP-led congress has accomplished in 2025-26. None of this would have happened if Democrats were in control of congress. If Democrats were to regain control of the congress, they would immediately attempt to impeach President Trump, grant mass amnesty to criminal illegals, re-open the border and reverse all of the gains listed below: 1. The biggest tax cut in U.S. history + the tax cuts were made permanent. 2. Prevented the biggest tax increase in history. 3. Completely closed the U.S. border w/Mexico. 4. Eliminated 50,000 federal bureaucrat employees and their $2 billion in salaries during the first year of Trump's second term. 5. During Trump's second term, under DHS and the Dept. of HHS have located 132,720 unaccompanied children that the Biden administration lost. 6. 650,000 illegals were deported in 2025 and 350,000 in 2026. 7. In the first half of 2026, Homicides are down 18% — on pace for the lowest level in at least 126 years. Carjackings are down 47%. Motor vehicle thefts are down 20%. Robberies are down 17%. Residential burglaries are down 13%. 8. Since Jan. 20, 2025, the U.S. Coast Guard has seized 470,000 pounds of cocaine, 21,000 pounds of Fetanyl, 2,400 pounds of heroin and 296,000 pounds of methamphetamine. 9. During Trump's second term, the Senate has confirmed 10 Trump nominated judges to the United States Courts of Appeals, 42 judges to the U.S. District Courts, 1 judge to the United States Court of International Trade, 8 judges to the United States Court of Military Commission Review and 1 judge to the Territorial courts (Article IV). 10. U.S. manufacturing output increased from $2.961 trillion at an annual rate in Q4 2025 to $3.000 trillion in Q1 2026. Output rose in Q1 for durable goods (up from $1.589 trillion to $1.624 trillion) and nondurable goods (up from $1.373 trillion to $1.376 trillion). Manufacturing accounted for 9.4% of the output in the U.S. economy in Q1. Output in the manufacturing sector increased in Q1 (up from $2.409 trillion to $2.449 trillion). In Q1, output rose for durable goods (up from $1.320 trillion to $1.346 trillion) and for nondurable goods (up from $1.089 trillion to $1.104 trillion). 11. Expenditures by foreign direct investors to acquire, establish, or expand U.S. businesses totaled $232.2 billion in 2025. Expenditures increased $76.8 billion, up 49.5% from 2024. Employment in 2025 at newly acquired, established, or expanded foreign-owned businesses in the U.S. was 213,100 employees. 12. Ended the 25 years of the brutal Venezuelan dictatorship and apprehended and arrested Venezuelan dictator and drug kingpen Nicolás Maduro. 13. Reduced funding for the fraudulent USAID by 83% in 2025 with USAID to be completely disbanded in September 2026. 14. Destroyed the Islamic Iranian terrorist regime's nuclear weapons development program, thereby eliminating one of the biggest nuclear threats in the world. 15. Facilitated and helped Israel destroy the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza and the Hezbollah terrorist stranglehold on Lebanon. 16. Eliminated funding and support for the terrorist-connected UNRWA, replacing the terrorist regime in Gaza with a new international coalition called The Peace Board. 17. Eliminated the $600 million Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Justice Program slush fund. 18. Eliminated the $5.2 billion National Science Foundation (NSF) General Research Grants and “Broadening Participation.” This ended the EPA's funding of radical DEI and climate change alarmism. 19. Eliminated $770 million in Community Services Block Grants (CSBG) that had been hijacked from true poverty reduction to things such as equity-building and green energy initiatives. 20. Eliminated $315 million in Preschool Development Grants which were tools during the Biden administration to push diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies into early care and education.

A peer-reviewed study finds that most of the temperature rise observed over the past century in the US isn't from greenhouse gases, but instead from roads, buildings and parking lots. By comparing raw US temperature data from stations in areas with different population densities, the study found that 65% of the warming since 1895 is explained by the urban heat island effect, and another 8% by urban growth into once-rural areas. That's nearly three quarters of the warming, with no CO2 involved. Crucially, NOAA's adjusted data hides this effect. Homogenization smooths it out, a process the study's author, Dr Roy Spencer, calls "urban blending." It's not "global warming," it's urbanization.

🚨 Do you want to see the ugly underbelly of how your money is being spent by our Department of Education? 🔍 Just so we're all on the same page, I monitor this specific group and check with the State Dept, the Visa Consular office in DC, DHS, and the university itself, once every month. They're all still here, still employed, still enrolled, with the exception of one student who now works for 'American Muslims for Palestine.' AMP is a national (and dangerous) Palestinian lobbying group whose co-founder was recently arrested by ICE for terror ties and visa fraud. These mugshots are professors and students (many are here on visas) who were arrested at the pro-Palestine rally last summer on campus. They called for a global intifada against Jews and Israel. Some of them screeched their brains out in Arabic, chanting for the destruction of America. One foreign professor from India (top row, 3rd) fought the cops as they attempted to disband the riot and arrest students. Not a single one of these individuals has been fired, expelled, or lost their visa. NOT. ONE. Allow me to repeat: these individuals were screaming their brains out for violent uprisings against America and Israel. In 2025, the University of Texas at Dallas grabbed $113 MILLION in federal funding. They're about to get even more for 2026-2027. @EDSecMcMahon @DHSgov

In this latest @RandPaul release, you will find the draft of a 'book' by Bill Gates called "How to Prevent the Next Pandemic". Anthony Fauci loved it and gave it to David Morens who edited it. And shredded it. The book (memo) was drafted in the weeks leading up to mid-to-late April 2020. Pretty good foresight, yes? Gates notes in his email to Fauci on April 22, 2020 that he had been getting Fauci’s feedback “over the last few weeks.” Birds of a feather... @jeffreytucker @SecKennedy @brownstoneinst @SenRonJohnson @thevivafrei @AaronSiriSG

A Hero 🔥 Dr. Kirk Moore SPEAKS OUT after charges DROPPED In a powerful interview with a local reporter, the Utah plastic surgeon and Navy veteran made it crystal clear: “I did what was right. I did what my patients wanted… I would do it again.” He openly confirmed he handed out real vaccine cards (with real lot numbers) without giving the shot, discarded the government doses, and—only when parents requested it—gave kids a saline shot so they wouldn’t feel left out or get bullied at school. His reason? “You can’t give informed consent to people when you don’t know what they’re being injected with.” No apology. No regret. Just a doctor who put his patients first when the government refused to offer a choice. Charges dismissed mid-trial by order of the U.S. Attorney General. A huge victory for medical freedom. Watch the full interview and decide for yourself. Hero? Absolute legend. ⚔️🔥

The DEMOCRATS’ PLAN is THIS: Make AMERICAN LIVES so INTOLERABLE so WE will GIVE UP ALL of OUR GOD GIVEN CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS to end the CHAOS. THIS is why we have the 2nd Amendment. When they come, they will quickly learn that WE PATRIOTS have WITH US; The Army, Marines, Navy, National Guard, Air Force, Police and Fire Departments. They have the purple haired people with body dysphoria and body oder.
