Remember 2019's viral documentary "Seattle is Dying?" It's had nineteen million views just on YouTube alone.
It seems like a lifetime ago, doesn't it? It was a raw and emotional look at the homeless and drug scene here, and it shattered the narrative we've been told ad nauseum.
Predictably, the backlash from local politicians and the activist class was swift and furious. But it was also highly coordinated. The city contracted with Pyramid Communications to try to turn public opinion against SiD.
Eric Johnson, the producer, did a great and heartfelt job with SiD. He was just interviewed by John Curley. Here is what he says about the city's campaign against him:

This just goes to show how ruthless the city is. They will try to destroy anyone who challenges the narrative and exposes the grift and their failure.
You can view "Seattle is Dying" here. There's also a follow-up video Johnson made a couple years later called "The Fight for the Soul of Seattle," which IMO is almost as good as its predecessor. Both documentaries are about an hour long.

A total of 13 people have been charged in connection with a wedding shooting that wounded two 16-year-old girls. Wait until you hear the names of the suspects...
Ohio police say 50–70 shell casings were recovered and nine adults were arrested in a joint operation with local, state, and federal authorities .
Not only that - but they also seized at least five firearms, including a fully automatic handgun.
According to #lawenforcement, multiple masked individuals were in a parking lot near a wedding reception as it ended... and they opened fire first in the air then at people and vehicles.
Two girls, 16, were shot and one was hit by a car.

In Washington, the constitution gives you an "emergency brake" called a referendum. If the legislature passes a law you hate, you gather signatures, put it on the ballot, and the law stops until the voters decide. That is how a Republic is supposed to work.
But the current majority just cut those brake lines.
They attached an "Emergency Clause" to the new 9.9% income tax. By doing that, they legally barred you from filing a referendum. Boom. Your voice is gone before the ink is even dry.
NO KINGS?... Argument is getting thinner by the minute...
See they know that clause doesn't fit this situation. It's complete BS. It’s a Fake Emergency. This wasn't for a natural disaster. They used it on a tax that saw record-breaking opposition. If this was a "win" for the people, they wouldn't be so terrified to let the people vote on it. It doesn't even go into practice until 2027... Emergency?
They know an income tax has died at the ballot box 10 times. So, they used a legal loophole to make sure you never get an 11th chance.
Because they blocked the referendum, you now have to do an "Initiative to the People." That requires double the signatures and allows them to collect your money for a year while you fight.
This is a "King" move. They didn't just pass a policy; they manipulated the rules to ensure the populus can't fight back. We can mope about it... or we can expose the mechanism.
Consent of the governed isn't a suggestion. It’s the foundation.
