There's a new Sheriff in town. Sheriff Edwin Raymond has dedicated his life to protecting the people of New York while bettering the institutions keeping us safe. He grew up in East Flatbush, the son of Haitian immigrants. He became an NYPD officer to build bridges between the force and the communities they serve, and to write a new legacy for the NYPD. His life's work has been fighting for truth, justice, and safety. I can think of no one better to serve as the Sheriff of the City of New York.

I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it. I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments.
