My Current Reward Redemption Strategy Across Cards 💳 Not random. Fully planned. 1️⃣ ICICI EPM Domestic flights → Always via iShop Reason: • 100% points usable • OTA pricing often cheaper than SmartBuy/Hopper 2️⃣ AMEX Platinum Travel / MRCC → Marriott Bonvoy transfers → Taj stays via free Vouchers 3️⃣ Axis ATLAS Depends on future travel plans Mostly Class A miles → Accor transfer 4️⃣ HDFC Infinia Rarely use points for flights/hotels via portal Prefer airline transfers Recently booked: DEL–HANOI 🇻🇳 Vietnam Airlines Business Via Flying Blue 22K points. Absolute steal. Moral: Redemption strategy > Earning strategy.

✨ Scapia is evolving beyond a credit card into a travel-first ecosystem. An ecosystem that rewards not just spending, but participation 🤝 As part of this, Scapia introduces a thoughtfully designed referral programme: 🎯 3 successful referrals → 👜 Puma Gym Bag 🎯 7 successful referrals → ⌚ Garmin Vivoactive 5 (~₹35K) Clear milestones. Tangible rewards. 🧭 The ecosystem’s foundation remains strong: 💳 Lifetime free — no joining or annual fee 🌍 0% forex markup on international spends 🔄 Visa + RuPay integration (UPI included) 🛋️ Domestic lounge access ✈️ Rewards redeemable directly for travel within the app ⚠️ Small but important detail: After approval, manually claim 1,000 Scapia Coins ⏳ Referral rewards are limited-period. For those already aligned with the Scapia ecosystem, this is a meaningful extension of value. Apply here: apply.scapia.cards/landing_page?r… Once it’s approved, drop me a DM — happy to help you plan a meaningful credit card portfolio.

Congratulations 🎉 Spend ₹17,00,000 and unlock… one sandwich. Sounds funny until you realize this is normal in India. If this doesn’t scare you, nothing will. This isn’t about mocking anyone @sumitkbehal - this is about the painful reality of how badly credit cards are misused in India. Because if you know what you’re doing, ₹17L of spends is not a sandwich. With the right cards and strategy, ₹17L is enough to fly a family to Europe in Business Class and stay at a premium hotel - not stand in a lounge queue holding a sandwich voucher. ₹17L done right = ✈️ Business Class flights to Europe for the family 🏨 Ultra-premium hotel stays 🍽️ That “free sandwich” eaten while staring at the Eiffel Tower The real problem? Most Indians think they’re “earning rewards” while banks quietly laugh and pocket the value. We swipe cards every day… but have zero idea what those points are truly worth. That’s exactly why #CCGeeks exist - not to flex, not to sell dreams -but to close this massive knowledge gap. Because the saddest part isn’t missing a sandwich. It’s missing business class travel, luxury hotels, and experiences you already paid for and never even knew you could have. Free money is on the table. Most people are just leaving it there. Jio Financial's Q3 FY26 results are mixed. Revenue surged 101% YoY to ₹901 Cr, exceeding analyst expectations of ~49% growth. Net profit dipped 9% to ₹269 Cr, milder than some forecasts of steeper declines (e.g., 57%). Strong in AUM (up 4.5x) and payments, but finance costs rose. Stock reactions vary, with some upside potential noted.

More than Axis, Accor is more at risk Personally I engage with Accor partially because of ease of earning them (both HSBC and Axis in my case). Most Accor hotels are basic (not bad as such but not aspirational. Be honest. How many of you knew Accor before Axis bought it as a partner?
Ankur Mittal@ankurmittal

@credofly jab tak CC se transfer ho rha hai chal rha hai.. We may see our favourite bank removing Accor as transfer partner.

I reached out to Kotak’s PNO as well but still no proper response. If this continues without a resolution, I’ll have no option but to escalate to the @RBI Ombudsman for misselling & nondisclosure.

@Gaurav_7887 Absolutely don’t close the home loan. It’s the cheapest form of debt you can get. Keep on carrying the loan for as long as you can. EMI of 50,000 being paid today will look like peanuts 15 years later.

🏠 The Real Cost of an ₹80L Home Loan An ₹80,00,000 home loan at 8% for 30 years = ₹1.92 Cr total repayment That’s 2.4× the actual price. Now see the power of small prepayments: Pay ₹900/week extra (~₹3,600/month): → Save ~₹38–42 lakh in interest → Close the loan years earlier Tiny boosts. Massive savings. Prepaying a home loan is one of the safest, guaranteed returns you’ll ever get. 🏡🚀
