I will never forget how in 2010, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart hosted the "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear" on the National Mall in Washington DC. Barack Obama had been President for a year, and we conservatives did not much like what Barack Obama was doing to the country. Colbert and Stewart decided they did not much like people vocally disagreeing with Obama, so they held a march to "restore civility"--i.e., "Never criticize Obama." This was after 8 years of "Bushitler" and every imaginable Leftist lie about W. Bush. The self-righteous hypocrisy of that "march" drove me nuts. Democrats only want "civility" when they are in power.

Did you know that Black Noir II somehow caused more planetary damage than Homelander in Season 5? Homelander’s been treated like the final boss for years, but Noir literally caused the worst oil disaster in human history. Entire ecosystems destroyed, irreversible environmental damage, and probably a few species wiped out because of him. Meanwhile, Homelander’s biggest recent achievement was sending one guy to space. So purely by stats alone, Black Noir II might actually be the biggest villain in the series now. It’s hilarious that by refusing to give Homelander a full rampage in the finale, the show accidentally made Noir objectively worse.

Except Trump and his supporters have tried constantly to undermine the legitimacy of making asylum claims while refusing to properly staff the immigration system to promptly rule on asylum and other legal immigration cases (as the Democrat proposed immigration bill that Trump opposed in 2024 would’ve done). Moreover, the rhetoric and other legal actions from the Trump admin (huge fees, caps, white supremicist rhetoric in videos put out by DHS) have laid bare their overall anti-immigration stance regardless of what their stated preferences may be. And of course solving the root causes of migration is important, but we still haven’t solved the problem of the CPC in China, nor the regime in Venezuela, which is actually the same one Maduro led except now muscled into selling oil to Trump’s allies without granting any additional freedoms to their people. The fact that you had the audacity to state that his decapitation operation had done anything to help the Venezuelan people makes plain your lack of honest intent. Fin.
