🇺🇸🇸🇪🇫🇮 If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

We are called to preach “nothing but repentance.” But some of you want to preach “nothing but tolerance.”

People really don’t understand my intention here. You guys… I know the church welcomes everyone into the church. I want everyone to attend. But is this post just communicating “hey we want everyone to attend our meetings”? It seems to imply the church has a place for everyone. But does the church even make space for everyone? How about the person who wants to marry their gay partner? How about the feminist who thinks we need female apostles? How about the woman who is pro choice? How about the transgender person who wants to use the women’s bathroom and attend relief society? How about the people who deny polygamy was practiced? How about the guy who does not want to have kids? How about the person who thinks the prophets need to be held more accountable to the general membership? Did Jesus say he would make a space in his church for everyone? Or did he invite everyone to repent and follow him with the understanding that he will prepare a place for those who fully love him?

What would George Washington do to people and agencies who interfered with US elections?

Hmmm… ————— And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city… Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves…And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved... But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Mark 10 (Jesus instructions to his disciples who are going out to spread his message) ————- Is there a place in the church for John Dehlin? For who don’t want to repent?

Casting Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy is peak clown world. The face that launched a thousand ships now looks like it launched a UN refugee program.

BREAKING: The House has passed legislation to make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide, ending the twice-a-year clock changes by a 308-117 vote. Backed by President Trump, the bill now heads to the Senate. If approved and signed into law, Americans would no longer have to change their clocks.
