If F16s could be bounced by a MiG21 with voice comms, a J20 can be handled by a Tejas Mk1A with networked data transfer. Having more Tejas helps. You don't have to stay up in the air for hours to fight a J20 DPSA if you use Tejas Mk1A as a node in a larger fleet of n/w'ed jets.







It is pretty funny watching PAF fanboys laugh at the IAF for procuring old Jaguars for spares, completely forgetting their own fleet's situation. The PAF is still flying 50-year-old Mirages and has spent years buying up retired, decades-old airframes from Australia to rebuild and put back into active service. They've even resorted to hunting down retired Belgian F-16s just to keep their fighter squadrons afloat.
