Pro tip: Don’t order a TV from @Amazon and if you see @cevalogistics as the carrier, save yourself the grief and cancel your order. Mine has been “out for delivery” for 9 days. CEVA has not responded to inquiries and Amazon expects me to just wait. @ctvottawa

Does this seem like a normal amount of email from a company?

I have been chatting with ChatGPT for two days and can confirm it is programmed to call the biggest political hoaxes true and to flat-out refuse to tell you there are alternative scientific hypotheses outside the approved narratives. So far, it’s the worst case scenario.

4x more context than GPT-4. Open-source is the new long-context king! Yarn-Mistral-7b-128k seems to be a huge win for OSS. This thing can easily fit entire books in a prompt. Will absolutely be trying it today. huggingface.co/NousResearch/Y…

@forgebitz Thanks for sharing even though it’s painful to read. It sounds like some VCs are trying to squeeze every last drop out of their investments…just like what some large corporations do to their employees.

"All in all we went from $0 to $100m to $0 because I followed the advice of the VCs." When you raise from a VC you need to build a unicorn (aka 1B+ company) and nothing else Doing 10M ARR? You are a failure, 50M ARR? Nope.. You failed A lot of amazing startups implode because of this model and this is also exactly the reason why I am never that worried to compete with well-funded companies because I know the chances of them imploding are very high @levelsio said it very well: You are just another 1/100 bet to a VC Is all funding bad? no, I think there are interesting opportunities and now that the model is changing (I hope) we will see more "boring" investments made in companies that focus more on sustainable business models

Alright #infosec people. I’m looking to get some certifications. Recommendations for a Director+ level “hands-on” technology/security person. Came up though IT, but am not someone who is going to reverse engineer malware. CISM, CISSP? SANS, ISC2, ISACA? @AccidentalCISO @FrankMcG

@freelancer Can you ask one of your managers to take a look at ticket 1818504? Your employees are making poor decisions and require additional training. Closing a ticket before addressing it is a nice touch too.

BREAKING: Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman blasts Twitter CEO Elon Musk for inviting fired FOX News host Tucker Carlson to host his new show on Twitter, declares that Musk is now America’s “most ardent promoter of hate and division.” But he didn’t stop there… He also called Musk out for being a “fringe, conspiracy spinning agent of chaos and peddler of disinformation.” Alexander Vindman is right. The last thing that our democracy needs is Tucker Carlson’s anti-American Russian propaganda being promoted and spread on Twitter. Please RT and ❤️ to expose Elon Musk — and consider joining Tribel.com, a new pro-democracy Twitter competitor I created that Musk is trying to bury. He banned Tribel’s Twitter account last week — but he has yet to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb
