@subaru_usa knew the 2019 Forester’s TCV was faulty but didn’t act. Its failure caused oil & coolant to ruin the catalytic converter—a $5k repair. Offering $1,000 to quiet our pursuit of fairness isn’t enough. Subaru must honor its values and make this right. @SUBARU_CORP

Here’s a root cause of chronic disease you won’t hear the MAHA “almost healthy” movement talk about: POVERTY. It’s an inconvenient truth that doesn’t fit their narrative, because it’s a lot harder to sell pricey supplements, detox teas, and pseudoscience when the real barrier to health is not “willpower” or “toxins,” it’s whether someone can afford rent, groceries, or time off work. Chronic stress, food insecurity, unsafe neighborhoods, lack of access to care are drivers of poor health. But calling that out doesn’t ring cha-ching $$$. People struggling are getting left behind.

Medicine and public health have added three decades to the human lifespan. Vaccination alone produced 40% of the reduction in child deaths. And now a disturbed and unqualified man driven by crackpot theories is destroying the foundations of this work, including CDC.

RFK JR: I’m looking at kids as I walk through the airports today...and I see these kids that are just overburdened with mitochondrial challenges, inflammation—you can tell from their faces, movements, and lack of social connection

The federal government doesn’t ‘give’ money to Harvard. The $2.2 billion in frozen payments isn’t for Harvard sophomores’ tuition or library books. The US government is buying services from Harvard: scientific & medical research & development. These aren’t ‘woke donations.’ They are contracts. Proposed, reviewed, awarded, with metrics and deadlines and standards of performance. Harvard is a government contractor in that sense — lab by lab, scientist by scientist — just the way any other company is a contractor. That’s true of Columbia’s $400 million in ‘frozen’ contracts — and all the rest. R1 research universities do crucial research the federal government can’t do itself, but that we as a nation have decided we need done. Mission driven. Pioneering. Essential. They can’t be done — as Sean Hannity just suggested — at community colleges & vocational schools. That’s not what the $2.2 billion is being spent on. …You could Google it. Of course.

Real quick - before I go to sleep… I know that this is a sensitive topic, but as a medical professional, I just have to say something. A 13 year old “having their breasts cut off” is a young boy dealing with gynecomastia, which is a swelling in breast tissue caused by hormone imbalance. The problem with these people who spout these crazy fear mongering tactics is that they don’t even know what they are saying. Thousands of young men are treated for gynecomastia each year. As someone whose background is in mammography, I did several mammograms on men who were dealing with gynecomastia over the years. The surgery to correct Gynecomastia is classified as gender affirming care. Read that again. Gender affirming care. So just stop. Leave the conversations to the patients and their doctors and get off your ever loving conquest to erase the existence of anyone who doesn’t look, act, or love exactly like you do. Oh, and as a footnote - puberty blockers are routinely prescribed for a child who is experiencing precocious puberty. So, say, a five year old who has started their cycle entirely too early. So get off your high horse about that too.

What’s changed? We stopped ignoring people. That’s what changed. Autistic people didn’t suddenly appear—they were misdiagnosed, institutionalized, or dismissed as “weird” or “difficult.” Gender-diverse people didn’t just materialize—they were closeted, shamed, or erased. People with celiac disease or food allergies weren’t “tougher” in your day—they were just sick, undiagnosed, and told to suffer in silence. And as for vegans? That’s just people making conscious ethical or dietary choices—something you clearly find threatening for reasons that say more about you than them. You’re not highlighting a societal collapse. You’re advertising the era of medical neglect, social repression, and anti-intellectualism you came from. What’s changed is that we’re listening now—to science, to data, and to the people your generation silenced. And judging by this tweet, you’re still not ready to.

BREAKING: Trump just literally gave a speech at the US Department of justice and stated that CNN and MSNBC are “illegal”. These are the words you’d hear from a fascist dictator. Imagine if Joe Biden went to the DOJ and declared that Fox News and Newsmax were illegal. First, they attack the truth. Then, they attack those who tell it.

Again for those in the back. Government workers paid by strict scale. GS-1 up to GS-15. Doesn't matter if you have decades of experience or several degrees, scale tops out at GS-15. And young DOGE employees are being paid GS-15 salaries. Why isn't there bipartisan outrage?

@alfranken @NormOrnstein Trump's claim about "transgender mice" is baseless. It's actually transgenic research for human diseases. His misinformation distracts from real issues and fuels division, showing a lack of understanding of science and governance.
