@Linahuaa The only way to settle this is with a scientific study, but we’re going to need a 1000+ clones of Sydney Sweeney who thirst after incel dick… please help fund this….. oh fuck it, no ones going to believe they’ll get tired

Men actually DO want a woman to be a challenge. They lose interest quickly when a girl is too "easy". Doesn't matter how hot she is. Even an incel guy would get tired quickly of a Sydney Sweeney openly thirsting for his dick constantly for no reason. However, there's a difference between being a challenge and being annoying/a thirsty hoe. The best strategy for a girl is to throw men a few bones periodically, but then act like a good Christian girl and refuse to come up to his apartment until a couple months of courtship in. And even then, no sex immediately, but starting with light touching and escalating slowly.
Stirling Cooper@StirlingWisdom

"Men want a woman who is a challenge" Which retard told women this? Men's lives are already full of difficult challenges. The last thing any successful man wants is a woman who makes things more difficult.

@RationalMale AI tool watches @aaron_clarey podcast “Can’t Wait For AI to Die” - outrage circuits overheat at 500C causing a 10GW datacenter in UAE to catch fire; Iran claims it as a successful drone attack; ceasefire breaks down, WW3 erupts, women most affected.

The next time some TradSperg says the Manosphere is just feminism for men, ask them if the New York Times has developed an AI app to track feminists.
Richard V. Reeves@RichardvReeves

The @nytimes uses a custom AI tool to track the “manosphere”, via @NiemanLab. As so often, it's hard to know what to think about this without knowing the answers to a few questions: 1) How is the manosphere defined by the Times for this purpose? Niemen links to a UN report that defines the manosphere as "a loose network of communities that claim to address men’s struggles – dating, fitness or fatherhood, for example – but often promote harmful advice and attitudes". But we don't know how the Times has defined the term. 2) Relatedly, who are the 80 podcasters on the Times list? The selection of outlets really matters here. We learn from the reporting that Andrew @hubermanlab is on the list. I'd question his inclusion (he only rarely addresses men's issues, for one thing). Others may not. But who else? Is Scott Galloway on the list, for example? Peter Attia? Steve Bartlett? 3) What is the clear editorial goal for tracking these conversations in particular, versus others? As a former journalist, I have no problem in principle with this approach. My concern is that by definition, stories are found in the places where journalists (or their AI tools) are looking, rather than elsewhere. This can then set up a self-reinforcing cycle, where stories generate more stories in the same lane, and so on. niemanlab.org/2026/02/how-th…

Finally saw Project Hail Mary. The best part was seeing Rocky come to life. Def hard to live up to the book, and I had whiplash a few times due to skipped material or expedited scenes, but that’s how it goes. Can’t make an 8-hour movie. Overall, I thought they did an excellent job capturing the heart of the book and I really enjoyed it! In some ways I wish I hadn’t read it so I could experience the film knowing nothing.

It's actually not losing my "tether to reality" to notice that America keeps attacking European energy supplies, as it has now happened twice with no care or concern for the effect on our countries. America is going to lose Europe to protect Israel.
Aristonkle@ParanoidPol

A large segment of UK based influencers, in seeing the managed decline of their country, have shifted markedly to the right. That’s to be expected given the circumstances and the need for immigration reform there. But they’ve also lost their tether to reality and become indistinguishable from leftists when it comes to world events.

Getting married sounds stupid as fuck until you see a single man in his 60s Go home alone, read a book, only one light on in the house, no goofy kids visiting for the holidays Suddenly a dumb argument with a pleasantly plump aging wife twice a week doesn't seem so bad

@KevinLamb74 Kobold Press makes a “Players Guide” that would probably work as a 5e substitute. They used “lineage” instead of race or species, but when I read through it a year ago, I don’t recall gagging at any overt political correctness or wokeness. And the original 5e stuff can be foumd

For those who wouldn't be caught dead owning WOTC's 5.5E core rulebooks, would you still consider purchasing the upcoming Melf's Guide to Greyhawk as a standalone resource if it truly is the new regime's genuine, good faith attempt at course correcting until a new and proper 6E can be released? People like @lukegygax and @LGosumba have given every indication that they'll be doing everything in their power to infuse the book with old school Gygaxian goodness, including legacy honoring lore that can be applied to AD&D campaigns, and the sales of this book might be heavily monitored by WOTC to see if this is a path they should continue on.
Kevin Lamb@KevinLamb74

Melf's Guide to Greyhawk will use the 2024/5.5E ruleset and will be released in 2027. Though it will be 5.5E (bummer but not unexpected) it will feature a lot of information that can be used for any edition. Planned to be the first of at least three new Greyhawk products.

@orsonscottcard Read & follow a Jack Bogle book to get rich, and the read & follow his “Enough” book to be rich (I suspect you don’t need to read the full book- most of his wisdom can be distilled to a page or two - it’s the follow part that gets folks

Being “rich” is a relative term. If everybody's rich, nobody's rich. No matter how rich you are, somebody's so much richer than you that by contrast, you are poor. The equation’s the same, only inverted, for being poor. There's always somebody worse off than you, compared to whom, you're rich. The hardest thing to have is “enough.” But for those who believe they have enough, rich and poor are descriptors for other people only. Sufficiency is the true means of being comfortable. In the Lord's Prayer, “Give us this day our daily bread” is a prayer for enough. Seeking to be rich is a denial of even the concept of enough. It is wealth that never gets over the fear of poverty. It cannot be satisfied. And for those with enough, it is not envy, but pity they feel for those endlessly hungry “rich.”
