🚨FYI: Gavin Newsom has already signed California Assembly Bill 1043 which mandates that operating systems including Windows, Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD implement system-level age (identity) verification.
This takes effect on January 1st, 2027.
Colorado also has a similar act called SB26-051 which is currently advancing through the committees and ready for full Senate consideration. It would come into effect on January 1st, 2028 if passed.
Utah, Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama all currently have app layer verification laws, but not OS level YET.
So OS level verification isn't a future thing. It's happening now. They are chokepointing the internet.

Today's HASTE hypersonic launch is an experimental mission that's a bit different to the usual Electron launches. Here's how.
1. Electron typically reaches final staging ~9 minutes after liftoff. Today? HASTE will complete its mission in <3 minutes.
2. No 2nd stage engine burn or battery hot-swap on this launch. Instead MECO, fairing sep, and payload deployment are all expected to take place within seconds and these events mark the end of Rocket Lab's role in the mission - from here its over to DART to carry out its mission objectives for @DIU_x and @HypersonixAU.

Incredible tracking shot from @_MaxQ_ showing the second SRB issue on a ULA Vulcan launch. 2 out of 4 launches having a similar SRB issue. Northrop really needs to get this figured out. Thankfully Vulcan still completed its mission

Tracking footage from this morning's launch of @ulalaunch's Vulcan rocket & the USSF-87 mission for @USSpaceForce - filmed from a perspective 3.9 miles to the west of SLC-41. SRM nozzle burn through plainly visible on the right-hand side of the vehicle, protruding in the direction of the twin BE-4 engines on the core booster. As alarming as this was, it's promising to see that the vehicle held a nominal trajectory as the flight progressed, per ULA's latest update. Unfortunately, Stephen J. Gould and Richard Lewontin are probably responsible for this journalist’s confusion. They misrepresented the observation that “genetic variation within races exceeds genetic variation between races” to cast doubt on the idea that distinct races exist at all. Lewontin knew better, but his commitment to Marxism exceeded his commitment to the truth.

This must be the dumbest journalist of all time. @paoramos tries to convince two Trump supporters that there is no scientific evidence that proves different ethnicities have different genetics, even citing the NIH as source. This is a patently false statement that only the lowest IQ’d, woke, journalist would make. It took me about 30 seconds to confirm that the NIH does indeed support the science of genetic differences for different ethnicities.
