“Late” leaf spot detected on peanuts at 62 days after planting in Williston, FL. Excellent photo and scouting by 6Gen Ag Services. This field had already received three fungicide sprays starting at 28 DAP. Info & photo courtesy De Broughton - 6genagservices.cca on Instagram.

Likely symptoms of Watermelon mosaic virus. Causes patterns of dark & light green to yellow patches on leaf. Leaf distortion is common. Symptom vary by virus concentration, timing of infection, single/mixed infections or temperature. WMV is spread by aphids #Plantdisease #Virus

Took soil samples for nematodes in peanut trial @nfrec_sv. Leafspot trial (collaboration with @IanMSmall1) with root-knot nematode there. Fungicide regimes, cultivars, and winter cover crops. Chlorosis mostly leafspot. Variable canopy closure among cultivars partly nematodes.
