Kudos to @AirFranceKLM. They destroyed my wife’s suitcase (stuff happens), so we trudged to the service desk. I was hoping for some duct tape and expected to fill out a form where, maybe, they’d send me twenty bucks in six weeks or so. Nope! The friendly and efficient clerk apologized for the damage, measured our suitcase, went into the back room, and returned with a brand-new suitcase, the same size, still in the shrink wrap. We swapped the contents right there and rolled out of baggage claim with the new suitcase. Nicely done. That’s the sort of service I’d expect from Singapore Air, not a European carrier. (By the way, what happened to @SamsoniteUSA? Apparently they’re no longer gorilla-proof…)

One person can't pay a $8,000 surgery bill. but 8,000 people can pay $1. the app: someone posts their bill. you give $1. the app prompts: "share this chain." your friend sees it, gives $1, shares. THEIR friend gives $1, shares. the chain grows. the bill shrinks. everyone gave $1. nobody felt it. the chain is the virality.

Sleep doctor reveals how drinking coffee and taking a quick nap can reset you for up to 4 hours “You take a cup of drip black coffee, just throw in a couple of ice cubes, right, merely to cool it down, drink it as fast as you can, then immediately take a 25 minute nap. The adenosine that’s built up in your brain will burn through while you’re napping, and caffeine, since it’s so close in molecular structure, can fit into that receptor site. It blocks any new adenosine. You’re good for four hours, guaranteed” “I use it with every CEO that I work with. Let’s say you only got three hours of sleep the other night and you’ve got a big presentation to do or an award ceremony or something like that, you can do a nappa latte for about 25 minutes or so, and you will feel much better”

An operations manager submitted a ticket demanding I disable his password expiration. He said changing it every 90 days was a psychological burden. I told him security protocols are hardcoded into the AD environment. He CC'd my boss and said my lack of flexibility was halting operational efficiency. My boss told me to find a workaround. I found one. I moved his user account into the legacy mainframe service tier. Service accounts have passwords that never expire. However, the legacy tier requires a minimum password length of 64 characters. And it doesn't support biometric login. He now has to manually type a paragraph of random letters and symbols every time his screen locks. If he gets one character wrong, he has to start over. He asked to be put back on the 90 day rotation. I told him the migration script only runs once a fiscal year. His operational efficiency has plummeted. My psychological burden is zero.

Elon during the Q1 2026 earnings call: "When we've unveiled various Optimus versions, we've found out our competitors literally do a frame-by-frame analysis and copy everything we're doing." Exhibit A. Xiaomi's Cyber One V2, revealed today, next to Tesla's Optimus Gen 2 - which dropped back in December 2023. This is what Tesla is up against. Not just competing - being studied, copied, and repackaged. And yet Tesla is still so far ahead that the best anyone else can do is imitate what they were doing two years ago.

I see this all the time and it's crazy how very little agents want to do especially given how much they can make. No exact location is due to them being afraid of buyers going directly to the owners, thus circumventing them. But everything else like pics, description - I mean this is so easy to do right? Especially since this info is key to catching a buyer's attention.

My boomer mom’s house appreciated $600,000 in 22 years. She didn’t invest. She didn’t grind. She didn’t “build multiple income streams.” She just bought a house in 1998 and waited. Last week she sent me a Dave Ramsey video about cutting subscriptions. I cancelled Netflix. My rent went up $300 the same week.

Shared Something to think about... Rory Mcilroy owns a Gulfstream G650 ER. He flew regularly from his Florida home to Augusta to practice and flew home each day. Look at the costs... a flight takes under an hour. A Gulfstream G650ER burns about 500 gallons per hour in cruise, or roughly 3,140 per hour at a $6.28/gal fuel price reference. For the West Palm Beach to Augusta trip, the straight-line distance is about 474 miles. At a typical G650ER cruise speed of about 600 mph, that trip is roughly 50 minutes, so fuel burn would be about 395 gallons. That works out to about 2,350–2,500 pounds of jet fuel, depending on the exact cruise profile and winds. Using the estimate of about 395 gallons for the trip and a jet fuel price around $4.07 per gallon on the U.S. Gulf Coast, the fuel cost is roughly $1,610 each way. Today. Rory won $4.5 million. Plus, the Nike contract bonus. That's what I call return on investment (ROI) BOOM 💥 @themasters @gulfstreamaero @nike @pgatour #golf

This is actually a very important part of the future of autonomous vehicles. Here's what LA Dodgers Stadium could look like pre-autonomy versus post-autonomy. Widespread adoption of autonomous vehicles means most fans no longer drive themselves to games and leave a car parked there for four hours. Instead, you can have your personal car drive you to the event, drop you off, and head home while you’re at the game. Or simply take a robotaxi to the event if you don’t own a car. Those thousands of parking spaces can be used for other purposes like green spaces, etc. So many things will change.

A 15 ans, 12%. Adultes : 2%.

FSD scared the crap out of me and my wife. We were headed out of town and my wife was taking zoom calls in the backseat and I was relaxing letting FSD do all of the work. We were following behind a cement truck and as we went through the intersection, the cement truck ran the light at the last minute, as soon as FSD was able to see the light it turned red and FSD slammed on the brakes. My wife’s laptop went sliding across the car, but we got stopped, and then FSD backed us up behind the line.
