Across trials, genetic variants, and longitudinal studies, the more LDL goes down, the lower the risk of heart disease falls. The evidence on this is extremely clear: get LDL down and heart disease risk declines with it.

@animaldocfilm Totally agree. And believe it or not, that's actually probably part of why they are a healthy replacement for more ancestral fats like animal fat. Appealing to the food's novelty to make arguments against its healthfulness just reveals your ignorance about how evolution works.

@Alexleaf @MohammedAlo Why are we even still talking about the mammary secretions of someone who didn’t consent to having her baby taken from her and her baby’s food given to adult sapiens? 😫😫😫

As a straight white guy, I want to apologize for assholes like this As an MD PhD, I’d like to diagnose him with ego fragility & prescribe therapy (± electroconvulsive therapy) As the boyfriend of a doctor, I’d like to say brains are hot🔥 Congratulations Dr @juliet_turner6 — And to the guys reading this, sitting on the fence about whether to say something—I get it. It can feel like it’s not your battle, or like stepping in might come off as patronizing, especially when the woman being targeted clearly doesn’t need saving. But here’s the truth: when the sexism is this blatant, silence isn’t neutrality. If there was ever a time to lean into that “masculine urge to” stand up for what’s right, it’s when self-styled “alphas” try to mask their own mediocrity by tearing others down.

"i fuck goats rarely, but i still do sometimes. there are many traditions that are culturally important to me that involve goat fucking. i would prefer if goat fucking was cruelty free, but i would not forgo those traditions to prove my morals. it's just too inconvenient"

Will keep that in mind, when you're getting preyed upon by a predator and begging for help.

You left out the most important part, which is that its wide-scale adoption has the potential to end the largest holocaust of the innocent in human history. Right now, people like you pay others to do unspeakably evil things to animals so that you can eat parts of them. In a world where lab-grown meat is adopted at scale, that sort of stuff probably doesn't happen anymore.

The furtive smuggling in of causal language like "quietly heals", "are healers", etc. is problematic when causality in such cases has not been established. If 'heal' just means attend to them in some manner regardless of whether such attention caused an improvement, then sure🤷
Vidit Gujrathi@viditchess

Your entire brand and personality is built on insulting others. While you chase retweets by tearing people down, my family quietly heals lives without needing a spotlight. They’ve helped more people than your ego can count. Stay in your lane. And for a change, try being useful.

We just published a critical review of the KETO-CTA study — the first study to examine coronary plaque progression in Lean Mass Hyper-Responders (LMHRs) on a ketogenic diet. Here’s why we believe the study’s results have been seriously misrepresented. 1/14

Why are all influencers absolute pieces of shit? They’re all the same, love to virtue signal and get clout points but when it comes to actually being a decent human being and not being a holocaust supporter, they don’t give a fuck bc veganism isn’t popular & wont give them clout
