Fortify Rights’s Leadership Council members call on the International Criminal Court to seek an arrest warrant for ARSA leader Ata Ullah for international crimes committed in Myanmar and Bangladesh, including ordering the killings of Rohingya civilians and human rights defenders. Among the signatories are Sir Geoffrey Nice KC, who prosecuted Slobodan Milošević at the ICTY, Kerry Kennedy, Beth Van Schaack, Lord Alton, Yale Law Professor Jim Silk, and more. “By seeking an arrest warrant for Ata Ullah, the Office of the Prosecutor would signal that accountability for atrocity crimes applies to all perpetrators,” the statement said.
