Fortify Rights’s Leadership Council members and Rohingya-led groups call on the International Criminal Court to seek an arrest warrant for Ata Ullah, leader of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army, for international crimes committed in #Myanmar and #Bangladesh.
While Ata Ullah has been detained in Bangladesh on national charges since March 2025, there has been no progress toward accountability for the full scope of his crimes.
“Failure to act risks emboldening perpetrators, deepening cycles of violence, and denying victims their fundamental right to justice,” said members of the Fortify Rights Leadership Council in the statement.
