Idea for a Hoppers 2 based on a real situation. Mabel and King George wake up in a desert with a bunch of other beavers with the intention of creating a waterway. Mabel is a beaver again and doesn't remember why. #Hoppers

Dear @FOXSports when you put on a replay of a ball game please don't show the score on the score ticker. Spoiled the @WBCBaseball final for me.

I just now watched these movies for the first time last month so I’m not sure if this is like some big debate among fans but isn’t the implication that they had to sneak in? Like wouldn’t Sauron notice them flying in??

@MLBaseball_Live Sure let's do a cap with a 90% floor and if you are under it no revenue sharing. Half the league's owners will sell their teams.
English

As I've reported for the past few months - a source close to a few owners have told me - people are thinking about 2026 - owners are privately discussing no 2027 and what that could mean for the sport.
Owners of small market teams view this as survival - and there's a belief within some owner circles that what's happening now will kill the sport more so then any lockout will - and they won't open up until their is a cap.
One owner according to my source - said to hell with the whole league then - if these guys want to lose 2-3 years of their career then I guess we will see - there's no point in going forward under this system-
And that's a look into how they view this - they view the entire league and its future and the health of each franchise - big or small market - dependent on a salary cap - and some owner do not see MLB surviving without one -
Yes - you heard that right - there are owners that do not see MLB SURVIVING - without one.
Free agency - small market teams and the imbalance that has plagued the league- The Dodgers are in fact - killing baseball.

It's going to get ugly this off-season for Major League Baseball...... The current CBA expires at 11:59 PM on December 1, 2026.

@Sam_Phalen I just dislike this attempt at moral superiority argument when it comes to billionaires paying millionaires. I love baseball and I want the game to have talented rosters and everyone striving to win but it seems like half the league isnt interested in that.
English

@Sam_Phalen Nope diehard dodger fan. Tune in to as many games as possible and I enjoy watching my favorite players do well. And if you think its easy you're not really paying attention. The dodgers had many struggles last season and their grit overcame and won one of the best world series.
English

Genuine questions I want to put out there.
Is it fun to be a #Dodgers fan?
Obviously winning is fun. But when you make the playoffs 13 years in a row with 12 division titles…are the joys of success not completely diluted?
And surely winning with a team of purchased mercenaries isn’t as satisfying as winning with a homegrown core.
Part of the fun is the chase. Is it boring to know you don’t have to watch a single regular season game?
And surely losses don’t sting when you know for a fact you’ll be back next year and but even more players.
English

@jacobinfante24 Can we have a guy who smoked cigars and drank whiskey since the age of 12 narrate a poetic script over this?
English

@GBraggsJr23 As a Bears fan, even though I want us to win the Superbowl I would like the media to show Ben this respect for turning the team around and giving hope to fans again if we don't. Not every moment needs cynical analysis.

Seen a lot of discussion on this today:
I'll just say this. Putting the specific situation in Jacksonville to the side for a minute. The reporter in question, Lynn Jones, has been in Jacksonville for over 20 years and clearly had good intentions for her comment. But I will say media saying it's about a deadline that is being delayed is a joke. Just say what you want to say about what she said. Has nothing to do with your deadline.
What I want to say is I do feel a big responsibility as someone that is "new media" or "fan media" that I have to be mindful of how I thread the needle with my coverage as to not ruin it for people that want to try take the non traditional route I took.
It's also not an easy needle to thread. I can be too media for some fans. And too fan for some media. You don't want to be a sellout to your viewers/fans but you don't want to be an embarrassment to your peers. I feel I have to take ownership of being mindful of the right way of going about doing what I do if I want to exist in this space and I feel others like me should also be mindful of that as well.
I try to be respectful as possible anytime I have an opportunity to be credentialed with the NFL whether it's at the Super Bowl or the Combine. At the end of the day, it's a competitive business, so you have to compete but I think it can be done in a way that doesn't alienate others. But there needs to be some acceptance in the sandbox as well.
There are some that will always treat you like you never belong. And that can be frustrating. Yes, journalism is a staple to any sports media room but our business is also sports entertainment. So yes, non journalists will at times break though into that sacred room. There should be a world where we can all coexist. At least I hope. The room isn't just for journalists, in my opinion. It's a collection of journalists, reporters, entertainers, personalities, local & national. Everyone with different agendas. That's just the reality. And it's up to the teams to decide who belongs in those rooms, not the media.
I'll say this much. I've been fully credentialed with Purdue Men's Basketball for 6 years. Was able to grow my fan in the stands company. Have 2 amazing employees under me. And we operate in that room seamlessly. Why? Because it's a testament to the media relations team for Purdue and how they treat everyone. And the media circle that cover that team that have been in that room who also carry themselves with class & grace. They gave us a chance & in return we are respectful to everyone around us at all times. Privileges are earned. But so is respect. And respect is a two way street.
To hear how some are speaking on this subject today, shows me there is still a wide gap in regards to respect to new media. And some resentment to the privileges that some of us have earned.
Especially when Lynn Jones who has been reporting for Jacksonville for over 20 years isn't allotted a little latitude and given some grace in her delivery. Some of the criticisms towards her have been downright disrespectful. It's okay if you have a differentiating opinion on her comment.
But I will also say something that's being lost in this is how we've gotten to the point where we don't treat the people we cover as human beings. And that's all Lynn Jones was doing. She wasn't saying that to him for clout. So while I can see the point from journalists today, your delivery on the topic feels a touch over the top.
My point is, I think we all should take a step back & think about how to make this sacred place a solid working environment for everyone involved. At the end of the day, we are covering sports, not weapons of mass destruction. However, there are many instances where real stories, serious stories are being covered. And can pop up at any time. And being respectful to that reality is also important.
Sports are supposed to be fun. Journalism is supposed to be serious. Knowing that, let's find a way to balance it all out.
