Near 30 minute wait in the post office to do a parcel return. Good on the cashier for standing firm when other customers questioned the prices or didn't have the right paperwork for DVLA or passport matters...

The hoom wanted to go to Harrogate to buy fabric. We also found a Toys’r’us so I had my photo taken with Geoffrey. Also the train to Leeds belonged to @jakesocials (not @LNER obviously!)

The dream of an HS2 train from Manchester to Amsterdam direct, with onboard border controls so you don't have to wait around in the station

Customer Advice: We're sorry for the delay to your journey. Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident at London Paddington, Network Rail have had to turn off the electric power supply to trains. The nature of this incident means we are unable to operate any trains.

How to catch a Blue Badge fraudster in 4 easy steps. 1. Get a picture of them leaving the vehicle alone. 2.Take a picture of the badge. 3. And this is important. Take a picture to show nobody else is sitting in the car. 4. Catch the fraudster returning alone to prove they are not picking anyone up. And there you have it. Rock solid case to report to @EalingCouncil. 😂

Freight train derailment: @networkrailwest says train passed a red signal at 0610 and three wheels of the locomotive came off the tracks at West Ealing. One of the four lines has now reopened. This is the busiest part of the Great Western, so significant impact.
