@4TaxFairness @SenWarren I hope everyone knows that a billionaire's wealth isn't cash in the bank. Your post is misleading. e.g. Bezos would still have ASSETS (property, investments, etc.) worth $247. If you have a house worth $400k w/a 3% wealth tax of $1200 annual, you still have $388k? No.

@Opinions_R_Ok @RepGwenMoore I looked at the requirements, seems fair. Doesn't tell me who exactly is getting benefits taken. The narrative propagated is that these reductions will result in eligible recipients starving, namely children, veterans, and the elderly. No one has verified a single case.

@BrennanCenter How does it restrict someone's vote? No citizen is being prevented from voting. Registered to vote and have DL you are good to go at the polling place no further action. Why is that so hard?

Today I signed an executive directive to help Michigan businesses receive refunds for tariff costs. The president’s tariffs have jacked up costs and Michiganders have paid the price. The Supreme Court ruled that these tariffs are illegal. Michiganders deserve their money back.

@SuDalt1 @SenMarkKelly How is it that the wealthiest people pay LESS taxes than secretaries and other roles I keep seeing cited when the wealthiest 1% pay 40% of ALL taxes collected and nearly 50% of all tax filers pay 0 (ZERO) federal taxes. Can you pay less than 0? What is the fair share?

@SenMarkKelly Let's start with something every citizen wants. STOP the FRAUD! Punish and fine the FRAUDSTERS. Forfeit their assets. Pay down the debt. Also vote for a FLAT TAX so Warren Buffet does not pay less than his secretary. Also consider a luxury tax for really expensive boats.

Good grief. In addition to being an *atrocious* message, it's wrong. It's wrong! We can have nice things. We are a stupendously rich nation. With a better tax code, we could absoutely do "all these things" and more. Gotta stop giving out tax breaks to the rich though!
