✍️ Dear @collision, @patrickc, As a hugely successful Irish owned company, @Stripe makes everyone in Ireland proud 🇮🇪. I understand as a dual headquartered company, in Dublin and San Francisco, you must follow sanctions imposed by #Trump in the US 🇺🇸. However would you be able to facilitate basic personal payment functionality on Stripe for @FranceskAlbs outside the US? She is simply doing her job, standing for international humanitarian law and the @UN Charter. Thank you. "Not only has the U.S. blocked them from their property, but banks have frozen Albanese’s accounts. Transactions involving her are stopped because intermediaries, such as Stripe, are American. @rtenews Targeting terrorists. It says a lot that everyone assumes and knows that that means Palestinians. Anyways talking about human rights has the EU ever said anything about the death penalty in Egypt, Syria, Saudi, Iraq, Iran and indeed in ‘Palestine’?

@volcaholic1 The environmental destruction in your images is horrific, who cares about ‘clean’ if all living things are gone. Far better to build one large nuclear plant, and rewild all the land being used for solar and wind. That would be real environmentalism, not this greenwashing.

China is blowing the world away on clean energy. As of 2025, it has 448 GW of wind and solar under construction, more than any other country and roughly half of the global capacity currently being built.

@DawnsMission The psychiatric services love them - at least where I live, it saves them having to do pesky stuff like talking to patients. Where I live the pills are free, therapy is not.

@EndTheEU If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that our politicians will impose any hardship onto us before they’ll go against their EU bosses. They all want those sweet jobs in Brussels.

If the oil is cut off, one or more EU countries will break ranks and get emergency tanker supplies from Russia. Even though Ireland is geographically well placed for this, it will be the last to accept it due to its parasitic Brussels politicians.
