Personally, I would love to see this starting XI next season. You could not press this team under any circumstances and have Garnacho/Pedro/Estevao running into open spaces caused by the press resistance/progressive aptitude of the rest of the team.

Just thinking of it, Fofana - Colwill - Hato back 3 is ELITE. Incredibly balanced, dominant & technical. But I’d rather have a back 4 OOP turning into a back 3 IP with Hato rotating with the CM like in the PSG system. Hato in the Mendes role

Nick Woltemade alongside Joao Pedro is another profile that really suits Barcelona. For someone his size, level of control and coordination he has is ridiculous. Yamal crosses into Woltemade would be ridiculous.

I think Xabi Alonso is a fantastic appointment for Chelsea. Chelsea right now probably do not have the personnel to play a Back 5 (not enough quality centre backs), But wow, I sure hope they do. He didn't have the personnel to play a Back 5 consistently at Madrid (not the midfield or defense for it). James sees his best at wing back. Palmer playing inside in the pockets. If Jackson returns, wow I think he would be brilliant in the 9 (I do not know if Pedro is off to Barcelona). Caicenzo pivot.

It’s really annoying seeing people act like João Pedro is just another Ferran. There are valid doubts about the price, and for me even the profile, but the quality is undeniably there. He offers much more than Ferran: more clinical finishing, far better technical ability, brilliant hold-up play, and very smooth link-up play. His control in tight spaces is very impressive. I honestly feel like some people are so used to hating on Chelsea players that they just refuse to admit his quality.
