I voted in Kolathur. The public didn't even go near the TVK helpdesk setup 100 metres from the booth. There were only 3 people in one helpdesk and 4 on the other side of the road. There were 40-50 people in the DMK helpdesk and all the public approached the DMK alliance helpdesk. There is no chance that TVK could have defeated our CM.... 🙏😥. INR continues to fall. In the next 3 years, it will go to 100 (to 1USD). This is a very very likely scenario. What can you do? 1) Buy gold? But, it is at a high. You could go sideways. 2) Convert INR to BTC (its volatile). If you are okay with the risk. 3) Convert INR to a real estate ( buy land, villa); avoid overvalued stuff 4) Earn in USD (if you can) 5) Invest in US stocks (automatically your money gets converted to a US denominated asset). This is probably the simplest option. 6) Change tax residency. Move base. This requires effort, planning and large capital base. Don't just simply wait and watch. Do something.

Update: Following this tweet @makemytripcare called. Good. They have promised to refund every single rupee paid and pay the balance back in the second installment. They also committed that they will do this for all customers and not just me. However, notice the following items - this may be relevant to your refunds too. Airline fee: 7555 MMT convenience: 399 Total paid: 7954 (pic 1) Refunded: 7205 (pic 2) Missing from refund: 749 (and not 399) Myra (MMT AI bot) says : 399 is the convenience fee and refuses about refund. When I checked this with the MMT officer who called me, he said that AI Bot was designed to handle this and they will refund whatever I have paid. Will update if (or if not) the missing 749 is refunded. @makemytripcare while I appreciate your fall, but .. Can you please ensure that the whole amount of 749 and not just a part of it is refunded for all customers? Please no deductions on refund - we have already paid 2x-3x the price of tickets and your convenience fee on the next ticket. Many of us, like me, have been around with you for a decade now. We deserve better treatment. Also, you should remove the AI bot from the system if you know it is misleading. The biggest winner in the ongoing #Indigo crisis is @makemytrip It first made us book indigo flights.. charged "convenience fee". Then retained their fee when tickets were cancelled by Indigo. 700 rupees made on every ticket! Indigo cancelled some 900 crore worth ticket and MMT ciphoned 80 crore plus in this scheme. Is @DGCAIndia And @jagograhakjago Noticing this giant scam on already rattled customers? Comment if you have experienced this from @makemytripcare too. We need to take action against them.
