@bphogan @pragdave @PragmaticAndy I'm a big fan of text myself. I find pandoc can be useful for conversions from markdown, especially if you are part of a Microsoft Word world but want to stay in text!

.@pragdave and @PragmaticAndy said this in the Pragmatic Programmer, but you really will benefit from having things in plaintext. I write almost everything in Markdown first. Emails, article drafts, tutorials, even my résumé. Then I convert them to what the recipient needs.

Hey @Wealthfront will there be any way for me to make sure you DO NOT share any of my financial data with @Intuit ? I am closing my Mint account because of their advertising practices and now you are going to share my data with them, subverting my attempt to prevent this.

It should be a requirement to make any team choosing the k8s path to do by hand what it gives you "for free". It will either make the team realize they don't need it or give them a greater appreciation for it. I am doing many of those things "by hand" currently.
