Here's an idea! Imagine if the PGAT and LIV had player crossover in some of their events. For example, have a LIV team play on a PGAT event and let 4 players from the PGAT play as wild cards on LIV. All in the name of healing the divide and working together. I would tune in.

There’s a lot of speculation about what might happen with the players if LIV Golf were to fold. Thomas Pieters of 4 Aces GC was asked about it on the latest episode of Dan on Golf: “I’m definitely never going back to the PGA Tour. I’ve never liked that life. And that’s not me having a go at the PGA Tour, it’s not for me. “I tried it and I just wasn’t happy there. If it (LIV) goes away, I’ll probably try and play some on the European Tour or I don’t know. I really don’t know. “I’m not fussed about it at this point because I feel like I still have a duty to focus on these next six, seven tournaments on LIV and then we’ll see. They’re obviously trying to get it together next year. We’ll see.” He was then asked about speculation that players hadn’t been paid ahead of LIV Golf Mexico City: “We got paid. We are getting paid. It was a week late. Some got it early, some got it a week late, but I’m not sure these guys check their bank accounts every two seconds.” Then he was asked what LIV Golf are telling the players about the future: “Not much. I think what ever comes out officially from LIV is what we’re getting half a day before it goes out. Scott is telling us that he’s going to a broader market and trying to fund this for next year. I guess it’s a massive challenge. But we just have to wait and see.” And finally he was asked whether he has loyalty to LIV Golf: “We are just guessing right now. But if we’re playing for 5 million next year or I could play on the DP World Tour for 3 million but be close to home that’s something I’d have to look at it when it comes. Possibly there’s guys going. But I think that’s up to Scott and his team to get this thing together and we’ll just have to find out.” There is a scheduled full player meeting tomorrow in DC, so players should have more clarity on what’s going on. @DanOnGolfShow @Daniel_Rapaport @Thomas_Pieters

@ThatNinja9 @MaryKayCabot Shedeur by all accounts is a nice, friendly kid - never in trouble. The issue brought up by his 3.9 GPA is it doesn't match up with the verbal skills he has displayed. It's not racial unless you think pretending people are educated when there not is off limits.

And football in particular is using it as an out to say the kids enrolled & taking classes but no one knows who completes the work. The "permits me to hear" thing I don't get - present yourself in the best light.

Consider Googling the term "code switching." You might learn something about this phenomenon that you don't currently know.

No, not interested in all the excuses (Trump, other events, etc) about low attendance at Doral when @RedHarrington44 & I could’ve told you this. @livgolf_league Miami was WAY better attended. Not debatable. I lived in Miami 2014-17 & the WGCs were poorly attended too. For 4 years all we heard was negativity from the media about low attended, limited field, no cut, guaranteed money events & that’s exactly what this is. Further proof of agenda driven media in golf.

@nocapback @MaryKayCabot His dad said ""I don't even know if Shedeur has ever taken a class on campus in his college career". He barely converses at a 5th grade level yet somehow got a 3.9 GPA taking sociology courses at home. Abusing athletes in this way is wrong. It hurts them in life.
