@SuburbanData @AustinHoney30 It is entirely the most obviously transparent & absurd “my candidate can’t handle criticism” statement I’ve ever seen. No one saying this should be anywhere near elected office.

the goyim genuinely think majority-minority seats are racial gerrymanders and illegal now
RAD@oneandonlyrad

@AezzieUwU Fair Louisiana. Get rid of those 2 Democrat seats. We don't do racial gerrymandering anymore let the Callais ruling handed down by SCOTUS.

@GreatLakesProg Perhaps I could’ve done it better but I was trying to limit county splitting while also trying to keep population deviation mostly below 1k

My version of a fair map in LA Drawn without knowledge of partisan breakdown goal was to make it compact and have mininum county splits

He's honestly so bad at this - WA would require Dems win like a Trump+24 seat to have the votes for. Why is that listed as a priority over WI and MN which are very viable redraws if Dems win trifectas in both? AZ and NV can't happen either Side note: gerrymandering is bad!
Politics & Poll Tracker 📡@PollTracker2024

Hakeem Jeffries told CNN that Democrats in New York, New Jersey, Washington state, Colorado, Oregon, Maryland and Illinois must act “aggressively” to respond to the GOP’s gerrymandering push. Democrats also have a “third tier” group: states that could redraw lines under certain circumstances. That includes Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Nevada.

@NOVAaocfan20 So it’s fair to break up rural communities. Only major metros matter apparently 🙄🙄🙄

If Maine were actually able to redraw this cycle then they could make a super fair and compact map that splits ZERO cities. Both districts voted for Biden by exactly 9.1 points giving Republicans an equal opportunity to win in both seats!

Absolutely not. Fair maps doesn’t mean proportional seats. If that was the case you’d just allocate seats by popular vote. Fair maps means districts that represent their communities and don’t carve them up for political gain. In WI, MA etc, geography is simply against one party
Joe@electionsjoe

If a gerrymandering ban is passed, should states have to reverse gerrymander for fairness purposes when political geography is unbalanced? (Example: making a Trump district in Massachusetts and making 2 more Harris districts in Wisconsin)

Which configuration of Georgia-2nd do you prefer? Plan 1 is 52.1% black and is Harris+10 exactly and is more compact of the two. Plan 2 is 52.3% black and is Harris+11.9. Lee County is taken out.

@eldermullenial @JustCaveman Good so that means you’ll vote for him in the general, just like the told people to vote for her and said he was voting for her after Biden dropped out! Nice to see you’re joining the abdulmentum!

That’s pretty damaging for a campaign built on authenticity. Trying to cast McMorrow or Stevens as inauthentic because of their past or present ties to PACs is likely to ring hollow when you’ve spent years misrepresenting a major part of your own professional background.
Adam Wren@adamwren

NEW: Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for years has publicly said that he’s a physician — but there’s overwhelming evidence that he’s had no experience as a licensed medical doctor. W/ @dlippman politico.com/news/2026/05/1…

@SethAbrams1 @ElliscbIV @umichvoter Then you do understand: the ABA does not determine whether you can hold yourself out as an attorney. Neither does the AMA determine who can hold themselves out as physicians. These are private professional associations with no legal or regulatory authority whatsoever.

Soccer moms voted for Harris, Abdul doesn’t risk losing them. He is however the best candidate to turn out the multiracial working-class voters we lost in 2024. I’ll remind you that Wayne county, the largest and most diverse county in the state, is also the one that swung the most towards Trump. It’s home to Dearborn, Dearborn Heights and Hamtramck, heavily arab and muslim areas Abdul is uniquely poised to win back. Wayne County is where Abdul served as Health Director and is also home to Detroit, the largest city in the State, a place where Kamala failed to turn out a ton of Biden 2020 voters. Abdul is the candidate with momentum, and a broad coalition of working class folks of all races. This is why he is surging.
El Gato Smokey@dadgpt13

@gldivittorio That’s great but in November she would have the much better chance to beat Rogers. Soccer moms in Oakland and Macomb county are going to be needed.
