USAID got shut down in 2025 and the money dried up. That’s public record.
For years it was pouring tens of millions of your tax dollars into progressive pass-through networks. Tides alone received a huge chunk. Those same networks help build and sustain the professional side of activism: logistics, legal defense, organizers, travel, and media amplification.
This was not neutral foreign aid. It was mission creep on a massive scale. High overhead. Ideological projects.
Grants that strengthened activist infrastructure with almost no real accountability. Money is fungible, so public dollars helped fund the machinery even when the label said something else.
When that funding and political protection disappeared, the capacity for sustained, logistics-heavy disruption dropped. That’s not a coincidence.
Your tax dollars were being used to subsidize networks that operated with real influence over the streets and the narrative. People need to understand what was actually being funded.
