@EstherUmoh10 The public should have known this for a very long time but it's not late. @inecnigeria is a compromised organisation. But 2027, they'll learn.

Ekwueme, do you know this iconic bridge in Lagos? The one your dumb Agulu messiah used as the background image for his Gbajue manifesto in 2022? Yes, the bridge was built by Dr. Hamzat as Commissioner for Works under the able leadership of Governor Fashola.

It was a pleasure engaging with General Gusau on pressing national and state issues, including security, the welfare of our military personnel, and the intimidation and violence innocent Lagosians faced at the hands of the APC during the 2023 elections, as well as ongoing threats by leaders of the NURTW. We also discussed the importance of youth participation in politics and the significant work that lies ahead of us. Every Nigerian bears the cost of bad governance: it is time to put an end to that. As we continue to strengthen the bonds of our shared purpose, we remain committed to building a safer, fairer, and more accountable nation.

@PoojaMedia Nobody is arguing if you are stupid or not. We are only asking the government to use our resources and make life easier for us. We don't want to keep struggling to meet ends. The nelfund, whatever is a big trap for the benefactor in future.

...But why are you angry with someone's testimony? His parents could afford his school fees, he applied for student loan & used it bag a solid first class. Even developed countries encourage loans & repayment. For a country we are all struggling, too much classism.

Good question. Firstly, @NELFUND is not stalking you the moment you graduate. You will not even be on their radar for two years after NYSC. Calm down. Secondly, after those two years, the question is simple. Are you working or at least finding your feet. They are not chasing you around with interest like loan sharks. Thirdly, if life is still doing you somehow after those two years, they are not dragging you. It is more like “we understand, go and sort yourself out.” There is a level of humanity baked into this. Fourthly, if you are earning, the approach is not punishment. It is structure. Small, almost forgettable deductions. The kind you barely notice. Like another subscription you did not cancel. Fifthly, if things go south again and you lose that income, they are not unreasonable. Everything pauses. Nobody is squeezing water from stone. Sixthly, in the unfortunate event of death, the loan dies with you. No drama. No transfer of burden to your family. It ends there. Seventhly, and this is where I will be blunt. Why are you already afraid of paying back something that is designed to help you get ahead. You are still a student and you have decided, in advance, that you will not make it in two years. On what basis exactly. At some point, it stops being caution and starts looking like self sabotage.

A lot of people criticizing you are just bitter. I once gained admission to LAUTECH to study Chemical Engineering in 2018, but I wasn’t able to attend cos my parents couldn’t afford 140k tuition fee. If NELFUND had existed then, I might have graduated and studied my dream course.

@Laxix6 Lemme fix the words for u properly Lagos and Abuja especially Lagos is the only state in Nigeria that the FG wants it function. Any attempts by the rest to do something FG will cripple it with policies while using the money stolen from the rest of the country to build Lagos.

There is a deliberate attempt to tarnish Tunde's name on this timeline, to the best of my observation. Every time when @Tunde_OD does anything, there will be one form of complaint and another. There will be questions as to why is he with this person or that person? "Why are these kids with those kids?" "Why is he with APC people? It is APC that put those kids on the street." The attacks on Tunde's personality on the timeline seem cordinated to me. This is why I don't take these people seriously. You people keep doing these things to him because he is a calm person. You will not try it with people that will drag you people. The bullying is too much, simply because he is a calm person. The Peter Obi you people are trying to compare him with, is not even at all sanctimonious. Many people defending Peter Obi today said many terrible things about him when he was Governor of Anambra. Under Peter Obi's watch, schools were on strike. So, I don't understand these attempts to force Peter Obi into every conversation with an attempt to make him seem sanctimonious compared to anybody. Let Tunde be. He said he is not dashing anybody any chess board that if you want any chessboard from him, you should pay for it. Allow the young man be. All these trying to bully people and their opinions everyday, you are losing people everyday. If you don't like the people he associates with then vote the politicians if your choice and let him be.

The Federal Government has opened applications for the second cohort of its National TVET Programme, aimed at equipping young Nigerians with practical, industry‑relevant skills. Starting 13 April 2026, applicants can enrol for 6‑month or 1‑year hands‑on training across accredited centres nationwide, with a monthly N22,500 stipend and nationally recognised certification. The initiative, aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT), expands training into high‑demand sectors including ICT, construction, creative media, agriculture, fashion, hospitality, and more. The Ministry of Education (@NigEducation) is also partnering with the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism to strengthen creative‑industry skills. Applicants must provide NIN and BVN, meet attendance requirements verified biometrically, and apply via tvet.education.gov.ng. The programme reinforces the FG’s commitment to youth empowerment, skills development, and job creation. Kudos to the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa (@DrTunjiAlausa) for this fantastic initiative!

Man, this does not look good at all. You are grasping at straws here. Being an ambassador does not automatically mean someone is on the payroll of a government or organization. Ambassadorship takes many forms. I am an ambassador for my own institution and receive no payment for it. I think part of what is happening here is that many of us have lived within the Nigerian context for so long that the idea of a Nigerian who operates differently becomes genuinely incomprehensible to us. There is also, unfortunately, a pattern of resentment I have noticed that sometimes emerges toward Nigerians who have built platforms or achieved visibility — where success is read as competition rather than inspiration, and people feel compelled to diminish them rather than engage honestly. How else do you explain making such a bold claim about someone you clearly do not know, with no evidence, in what appears to be a deliberate attempt to “drag” @Tunde_OD name? For impressions? Clout? Or is this simply what unchecked histrionic personality disorder looks like on a public timeline? If you have substantive criticism, make it with evidence. Otherwise this says far more about you than it does about him.
