I extend my warmest congratulations to Rt. Hon. @TodwongR , the Secretary General and head of the @NRMOnline Secretariat, and Amb. Barbara Nekesa Oundo, the National Treasurer, for their outstanding leadership and dedication in making President Yoweri Museveni’s swearing-in ceremony yesterday May 12, 2026, a resounding success. Your tireless efforts in mobilizing party structures, coordinating logistics for thousands of NRM leaders and supporters, managing high-level invitations, and ensuring seamless collaboration with the National Organising Committee turned the event at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds into a truly colorful, well-organized, and memorable national celebration. The smooth execution, strong party turnout, and vibrant atmosphere reflected the unity, efficiency, and strategic planning of the Secretariat under your guidance. You have once again demonstrated why the NRM remains a formidable force in Uganda’s political landscape. May your continued service inspire greater achievements as we protect the gains and advance towards a high middle-income status. Well done, and keep shining 🇺🇬 MKIS

Muzeeyi @KagutaMuseveni, we the foot soldiers, the ground Bazzukulu, and the sons of the freedom fighters who stood with you in the bush and have continued to stand with the NRM revolution, have heard your powerful message loud and clear during today’s swearing-in at Kololo. This is indeed the Kisanja of “no more sleep” for all Ugandans. No more laziness, no more excuses, no more corruption, and no more resting on past achievements. We have received the command, Your Excellency. We want to assure you that we have already started. From the villages to the parishes, from the markets to the workplaces, the ground Bazzukulu are awake, mobilized, and working with fresh energy to push the Parish Development Model, agro-industrialization, household income programmes, and the full transformation agenda you have laid out. We further assure you, Mr. President, that we are ready for any deployment you may require to help realize the full vision and raise the bar of this new Kisanja. Whether it is in the fight against poverty, the war on corruption, the protection of our hard-won peace, or the drive to take Uganda to middle-income status, we are available, disciplined, and committed. We assure you sir that will not sleep until the mission is accomplished. Long live the NRM Revolution Long live Your Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni MKIS #NoSleep #SwearingIn #NRM @StateHouseUg @mkainerugaba @kirunda_faruk @nkojo_james @JaneBarekye @BalaamBarugahar @AnitahAmong @DaudiKabanda @JanetMuseveni

Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki: The New Gold Standard of Transformative Leadership at KCCA – Redefining Excellence in Just One Year In just over a year since assuming office in early 2025, Hajjat @Buzeki_Sharifah has emerged as a dynamic and results-driven leader, delivering outstanding performance as Executive Director of the @KCCAUG. Her tenure stands out for its remarkable momentum, tangible improvements, and people-centered approach that is already transforming Kampala into a cleaner, more organized, and livable city. Buzeki exemplifies visionary leadership combined with practical action, proving that meaningful change is possible even in a short time when guided by dedication, innovation, and inclusivity. Reasons for Her Outstanding Performance: • Rapid and Visible Service Delivery: She has driven key gains in waste management (increasing collection coverage from 53% to 63%), launched the impactful Weyonje Sanitation Challenge for community-led cleanliness, acquired land for a sustainable landfill, and advanced over 80–89 km of road rehabilitation alongside drainage upgrades to combat flooding. These initiatives address long-standing urban challenges with speed and innovation. • Working Collaboratively with Leaders at All Levels: Buzeki excels at fostering partnerships across government, private sector, and community stakeholders. She engages actively with ministers, divisions, head teachers, sponsors, and partners for projects like the Kampala City Festival, infrastructure under GKMA-UDP, and health initiatives, ensuring coordinated efforts for maximum impact. • Connecting Deeply with the Common Person: Unlike more top-down styles, she prioritizes resident involvement through clean-up drives, public engagements, school stakeholder meetings, and campaigns that empower ordinary Kampalans to own the city’s transformation. Her emphasis on “no excuses, results for the people” resonates on the ground, building trust and shared responsibility. • Governance, Revenue, and Strategic Vision: Revenue targets exceeded (e.g., 110% in 2025), a new 5-year strategic plan with client charter, anti-laziness/corruption stance, and staff performance reviews reflect strong internal leadership and accountability. Ranked Performance Ratings of All KCCA Executive Directors (Highest to Lowest: 1. Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki (2025–present) at 87% — Clear first place for her exceptional results in a very short time, outstanding innovation, collaboration, and people-centered impact. 2. Jennifer Musisi (2011–2018) at 40% — Second place due to her longer 7-year tenure that allowed her to lay some foundational systems, though her overall transformative delivery fell short compared to Buzeki’s accelerated progress. 3. Andrew Kitaka (Acting, 2018–2020) at 20% — Third place as a solid caretaker focused on continuity but with limited bold achievements. 4. Dorothy Kisaka (2020–2024) at 10% — Last place due to persistent challenges and the unfortunate end of her tenure. Why Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki stands way outstanding and ranks first among them all: With an impressive 87% performance rating, she has achieved accelerated, inclusive progress in far less time than her predecessors amid greater complexities (post-Kiteezi recovery, larger population, and tighter resources). Her collaborative style with leaders at all levels, genuine connection to the common person through initiatives like Weyonje, community-driven innovations, and balanced focus on enforcement + empowerment set her far apart. She is not just managing but inspiring ownership and delivering real hope therefore redefining KCCA excellence right from the start. Jennifer Musisi’s longer tenure gave her more time, yet she only reaches 40% in this ranking. Kampala is truly fortunate to have such a committed and highly effective servant leader in Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki. #TheKampalaWeWant #KCCA @KCCAED @KCCASpox @KCCAFC @KagutaMuseveni @HajjatMinsa @kyofakabuye2 @KabbyangaB

PRESS STATEMENT Condemnation of Land Speculation and Illegal Evictions at Nateete Market A Stern Warning to Opportunists As the NRM Chairman for Rubaga Division, I wish to address a growing and unacceptable trend where certain individuals, armed with insider information about government’s future plans to construct roads, public infrastructure, or acquire land for the greater public good, deliberately purchase properties including markets, buildings, and prime land with the sole intention of fleecing the government and the people of Uganda through inflated compensation demands. This greedy and unpatriotic practice undermines national development, hurts ordinary citizens who depend on these spaces for their livelihoods, and seeks to enrich a few at the expense of the many. It will not be tolerated under our watch. A clear case in point is the situation at Nateete Market. A businessman recently acquired the land on which the market stands and has now begun chasing away hardworking market vendors and traders, claiming he wants to use the land for his own purposes. This action is not only heartless but also directly contradicts the spirit of the government’s plans to upgrade and modernise such public markets for the benefit of the people. As NRM Chairman Rubaga, I make it categorically clear: We shall not allow it. We shall not tolerate it. I am issuing this strong warning to the said businessman and all others engaged in similar schemes: The people of Rubaga do not take kindly to such provocations. Do not test us, because you will not like the outcome. We remain united and resolute in protecting our people’s interests and the development agenda of the NRM government. I therefore call upon His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda @KagutaMuseveni to kindly fulfil his promise regarding the Nateete Market and similar public assets. I further urge all relevant government bodies particularly the Kampala Capital City Authority (@KCCAUG ), the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, and other responsible institutions to immediately come out and decisively intervene in this matter. Let them act swiftly to protect the traders, secure the public interest, and ensure that development is not held hostage by selfish individuals. The NRM government is committed to the welfare of all Ugandans. We shall continue to deliver on our promises and defend the common good against any form of exploitation. For God and My Country. Recognising Bold Leadership in the Fight Against Corruption Fellow Ugandans, Corruption remains one of our greatest challenges, draining public resources and undermining service delivery. Yet, decisive action can make a real difference. Since assuming office as Chief of Defence Forces (@cdfupdf) in 2024, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba (@mkainerugaba) has demonstrated unwavering commitment to rooting out graft within the UPDF and the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs. He declared a clear zero-tolerance policy where any officer involved in corruption, misappropriation, or mismanagement was as must reform immediately or leave the force. He backed these words with action while ordering rigorous audits, enforcing transparent procurement, and overseeing the arrest and detention of over 20 senior UPDF officers, including generals, on corruption-related charges. These bold steps have produced tangible results. Gen. Muhoozi recently reported that corruption in the Ministry of Defense has reduced by 85% under his leadership, leading to better utilisation of resources, improved soldier welfare, and greater efficiency. By cleaning up a key national institution like the military, Gen. Muhoozi is not only protecting public funds but also setting a strong example of accountability and discipline for the entire country. In recognition of this outstanding leadership and measurable impact in the fight against corruption, it is fitting that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba be awarded a “Certificate of Merit for Anti-Corruption Excellence” and an appropriate national honour. We commend his courage, results-oriented approach, and dedication to a stronger, more professional @MODVA_UPDF that serves all Ugandans. Long live Uganda. Long live the UPDF. #fightcorruption #Certificateofmerit @IGGUganda @AntiGraft_SH @KagutaMuseveni @ShieldInvestors @StateHouseUg @Parliament_Ug @UPDFspokespersn @PoliceUg @AigpDamulira @Tom_Magambo @Muhoozi_4_UG @NRMOnline @Plugandaa @EbongWalter4 @MichealMawanda1 @DaudiKabanda @FrankGashumba @BalaamBarugahar @norbertmao @Thomas_Tayebwa @MuhooziGen @edthnaka

Haahaa 😂😂😂 Ladit @norbertmao Off to Kyankwanzi with that same smile... At the iPod Summit I told you directly: your office doesn’t pick calls or reply to people’s pleas. You promised to fix it. Still nothing. If this is the same smile you are bringing to Kyankwanzi that hides inefficiency, selfishness and self-enrichment, then we will not tolerate that smile. A wolf in sheep’s clothing may smile, but the people see through it. #kyankwanziretreat #nrmcaucus @KagutaMuseveni @Parliament_Ug @pwatchug @Onc_nrm1 @NRMOnline @TodwongR @OfwonoOpondo @abubakerlubowa @AnitahAmong @Thomas_Tayebwa @job_matua @norbertmao @RealBeaMao
