Cartoons really made me believe that water rides called The Tunnel of Love where you go into a little river boat to make out in some cavernous dark ride were just a part of life but I'm pretty sure they don't exist.

And here is UDFA Jeff Caldwell in a #Chiefs uniform. No one happier to have him here than Cyrus Allen, his former @GoBearcatsFB teammate: "Jeff's a dawg...I was amazed he got signed here. I was like, bro, let's go back to work."
Louis Riddick@LRiddickESPN

Please please please let @GoBearcatsFB WR Jeff Caldwell get drafted by a team with a good WR room/WR coach and good QB. He is going to BLOW UP if so…. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Id put Hunter , fighter, psy and butcher at top. The rest in the middle and maybe cleric at the bottom ? It’s really close now for me but id def say those are my top 4.
Sophie@TreeMerr

@edmundmcmillen What's your own, personal ranking of each of the collars? I've seen a lot of disparity between devs and players, and I am curious to see if that applies here

@AlliYaff Blues' attempt at tugging at your heart strings is way more compelling. It might have something to do with how they are the best at managing to find organs no one was using, or so I've heard during the debate.

@vectthorr @GrassTroll @dickmasterson Well it's simple, red button pressers only care about themselves so of course they don't care about the young and disabled.

I think people are choosing "blue" because then they can feel noble, but in the real world, with their life on the line, they'd press red. I'd certainly press red! Just have the whole world press red, and nobody dies!
Tim Urban@waitbutwhy

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

@JustinMacmahan Love how risking death to stop mass murder is considered virtue signaling. I'm sure our great grandfathers were all a bunch virtue signalers when they stormed the beaches on D-Day.

The majority of people pressing blue is the epitome of virtue signaling. 100% of people should just press red and guarantee survival. There’s absolutely zero reason for anyone to press blue, but these sheep think it’s the virtuous choice so they vote for it anyway

The calculus to press red is, to put it kindly, short-sighted idiot math. It begins and ends with “what input gives me the best odds of living” with no regard for what the world you’d be living in - where everyone you can trust is dead and everyone else knows it - would look like

@G0ffThew It's not short-sighted, it's how normally moral people go about their daily lives. Pressing blue is either dumb or heroic, it's not 'what any decent human being would do.'

@oliveegger Before people voted for Trump I would've pushed the blue button. I no longer believe the majority of people are kind and rational and I won't put my life in their hands. Now I'd pick red because I firmly believe the majority of people are selfish and evil

@mrjeffu I'm curious, in this case where they have a bunch of big bags they need to set down and there's no clear space until 3ft. past the red line, how would Japanese people handle setting their stuff down so they can take off their shoes?

This video of foreign tourists is going viral in Japan because they don't seem to realize the red line on the floor of their hotel room is meant to show where they need to take off their shoes. Overseas it's not rare to wear shoes inside hotel rooms.

Do you understand the MASSIVE costs to obtain the rights to do this, to say nothing of getting a distributor, hiring a translator, editors, etc.? If I were a billionaire, I would do that. But I don't have that kind of money. And American companies aren't going to keep paying a license for older stuff unless it is massively popular. Also, American publishers/distributors may legally have the ability to stop an individual from licensing stuff. They often have exclusive agreements with Japanese publishers. And Japanese companies are NOT going to make deals with some nobody gaijin unless it is for something they don't care about. That's how the game works. I agree with you that mangaka should get paid. I buy all my manga. I have TONS of it (anime too), including Japanese tankoubon. But if Japan puts up barriers that prevent Americans from legally obtaining a manga (or anime), the creators aren't getting paid. Thus if the license runs out in America, Japan should provide a legal way to buy it. But that won't happen 'cause they want to sell expensive licenses.
