A message to @YouTubeCreators @TeamYouTube @nealmohan @reneritchie and every YouTuber that suffers from "Inauthentic content". I'm a French comedian and YouTuber with over 12 years on the platform. I run 2 YouTube channels (714K and 350K subs) with more than 400 million views on long-form videos. I create comedy podcasts and gaming content, and I do everything myself: filming, editing, and appearing on camera. Overnight, both channels were demonetized. I made 2 appeal videos — zero views. Every appeal was rejected with the exact same copy-paste automated message. No human support from YouTube. After 12 years and building two big communities, this treatment is unacceptable. Imagine you are @TeamYouTube, stealing creator's money, turning off their monetization while still putting ads on the content, then when creators request a review, you have your stupid AI simply reject them with a canned response. Then you have the balls to brag about Record profits. That you stole. From the main pillar of your business. People have to wake up. In a fair World the split should be 50/50, Rumble is EVEN BETTER than that and you never have to worry about getting banned or demonetized by a rogue AI. All reviews are done by humans.

So YouTube demonetises AI creators for “inauthentic” and “mass-produced” content, then Neal Mohan praises AI for enabling a “new class of creators who lacked the skills or equipment.” Lacked equipment? Fair. Lacked skills? AI doesn’t install taste, story, pacing, composition, or artistic judgement through divine USB. AI doesn’t create skill out of thin air. It amplifies what’s already there. In the hands of an artist, it becomes a production pipeline. In the hands of a slop farmer, it becomes landfill with thumbnails. So maybe platforms should stop pretending “AI content” is one category. There’s a massive difference between original AI-assisted work and mass-produced garbage.

It has been a full week since someone from YouTube support said they would contact the internal team and get back to me in a “couple of days” Since then they have ghosted my follow-ups. Every time I request a new case to be opened, the new agent tells me to refer back to this one. The agent on this case is unresponsive. @YouTube @TeamYouTube this is the worst support communication I have ever dealt with. Please have a human contact me and stay consistent enough to actually sort out the issue. Show at least one sign that you care about your creators
