Played this hand at the Wynn, and am curious about what you'd do. Weird spot. 8 handed. $10/$20/$40 NL. $11K effective stacks. I open HJ to $120 with QhQd, the big blind, a local pro, makes it $500. Pot: ~$1,000 Flop: Th 6s 3h. He bets $340. I thought about raising, but called. Pot: $1,700 The turn comes down a Jc. He fires $2,500. This is an odd, but good bet because he applies maximum pressure on my low pairs, flush draws, and Tx hands. At the same time, he's representing a narrow range of hands for value, namely sets (TT/JJ), JTs (there are only 2 combos), and maybe KK/AA (I'm not sure these would overbet). Otherwise, he's bluffing. I thought about shoving but called. Would you play it differently? Pot: $6,700 River: 9c. He now jams ~$8,000. Again, he's repping the same range. Telling the same story.
