@rezoundous You go super hard in concept phase and then sketch out exactly what you want to do. Then you let an agent handle everything after that and only have it return when fully finished. Bonus if that agent is the boss agent, sends out subagents to then implement slices, etc

@simpsoka 403 forbidden hitting cloudflare for plugin sync like ~2x per second per thread would be lovely and windows read open on plugin files that codex tries to force refresh (make codex stop refreshing plugin files so many times, once every few minutes is more than fine)

@dkundel @Makuh90 Please please please make a power user testing group, I use 2b t/day on Windows I would love to help I get that the primary audience is not on Windows but there's so many little issues, example: read opens blocking plugin install loops codex does leading to crazy CPU usage.

We care about Windows users 💙 but the environments are very different but the team is working hard on bringing the features to Windows. The work we had to put into building a sandbox for Windows where other companies just declared defeat is a good example. openai.com/index/building…

On your Mac, press Command-Command to attach your app window to a Codex thread. Codex gets both a screenshot and text from the window, including content beyond what’s visible onscreen. Appshots are available across plans on Mac, with enterprise access coming soon.

Used image gen once and then used the "Edit" follow up and was hit with that. Was a dud though, Response 2 didn't even change the base image at all, quite weird.

I'd really love a canary program with better feedback avenues. Or, also works, OSS the app, let Windows power user fork and fix it themselves. I don't mind to burn tokens, I use ~2b/day, but the black box and second class treatment is frustrating. @dkundel @Dimillian 🙏

Windows #Codex App is still quite buggy. From read-write file overwrites that the app's plugin refresh forces that hang on Windows read-locks and kill the CPU to slowly decaying performance due to the app not properly shutting down. The power user experience is to buy a Macbook
