@CapitalFMUganda As an African, I would actually not go for democracy. Democracy is a tool used by powerful countries to hold poor countries ramson. China knew this and opted for meritocracy. I think this so-called junta has also learnt the same and trying to light the path for Africans

Burkina Faso Junta Disbands Electoral Commission
Burkina Faso’s military rulers have officially dissolved the country’s electoral commission, calling it a financial burden. Since the 2022 coup, the junta has implemented sweeping reforms, including postponing elections.
The move signals a shift away from democratic structures, raising concerns among international observers about the country’s governance and future electoral integrity.

@Sudhirntv For us we shall be drinking ginger and lemon plus some herbs from Dr. ogwang. We are done with synthetic medications. Nature has us covered!

@AfricanHub_ During covid period in Uganda, the local herb @covidex was legalized to treat covid and it did pretty well! Human health is tied to nature. Africa knows this! Kudos to him for this trend!

Amazing idea. Burkina Faso Moves to Integrate Traditional Medicine Into Public Health System to restore the cultural identity tied to ancestral healing practices.
As part of the National Health Policy, traditional medicine will be institutionalized through the creation of specialized departments within regional and university hospitals. This reform reflects a dual ambition, to offer more accessible healthcare to underserved populations.

Miracles Witnessed While Filming of The Passion of the Christ: ✝️
No Hollywood studio would agree to make The Passion of the Christ, so Mel Gibson decided to create his own production company and fund the entire film himself.
While casting the role of Jesus, Mel Gibson warned Jim Caviezel:
"Playing Christ will be incredibly difficult. If you do this, you'll likely be rejected by Hollywood."
Jim took a day to pray. Then he told Mel:
"We have to make it, even if it is difficult. My initials are J.C., and I am 33 years old. The same age as Christ. I didn't realize that until now."
Mel paused: "You're really scaring me, you know." And hung up the phone.
What followed was the most brutal movie role in Hollywood history.
– Caviezel lost 45 pounds
– Was struck by lightning twice
– Whipped accidentally, leaving a 14-inch scar
– Dislocated his shoulder
– Suffered pneumonia & hypothermia after hanging the cross for hours in only a loincloth
– Filming the crucifixion took 5 weeks
– Later required TWO open-heart surgeries due to stress from the role
And still, his purpose was clear:
"I didn’t want people to see me. I just want them to see Jesus. Conversions will happen through that.”
And they did:
- Pedro Sarubbi, the actor who played Barabbas, said of Cavezel: “His eyes had no hatred... only mercy and love.” He later converted to Christianity.
- Luca Lionello (Judas): Former atheist, converted to Christianity after the film & baptized his children
- A Muslim technician on the movie converted to Christianity after the film.
Countless millions around the world were converted to Christianity through the film.
It grossed $611 million worldwide, becoming the most successful R-rated film in history.
But more than that—it changed hearts around the world showing the true pain of Christ’s suffering.
Jim Caviezel now proclaims Christ boldly:
A role that nearly destroyed him became the one that saved countless others.

It is not that hard to make a politician in Uganda. In fact not that hard even to be a famous one! But to make a great journalist and a famous show host and anchor is extremely hard. Every 4 years we lose great talent to politics but these will hurt deep. And in 2031 we shall lose some more. I shall be here to hold fort. Painful but we shall soldier on. Best of luck on your new chapter.

@DustLasts @DailyMonitor Thank you boss, you have indeed understood the Uganda leadership we are in

President Museveni’s legacy
is one of deception and neocolonial subservience.
Marketed as a revolutionary, he was in reality a CIA-backed rebel who seised power through violence, massacring thousands in the Luwero Triangle while shifting blame onto his opponents Dr Apollo Milton Obote.
His regime mass murdered, mutilated sodomised and forced northern Ugandans into concentration camps, dispossessed them of their land for the benefit of multinational corporations, and blamed Joseph Kony of LRA to justify USAID funded military operations that served foreign interests.
Under his rule, Uganda’s sovereignty
was sold to the
IMF and World Bank through devastating structural adjustment programs that crippled the economy, devalued the shilling, and paved the way for Western corporate dominance.
He systematically dismantled institutions, amended the Constitution to favour globalism agendas, scrap term and age limits, and entrenched himself as president for life.
As the West’s gatekeeper in the Great Lakes region, he owns an army for hire used in proxy wars for protection of foreign interests. He has been propped up to “win” elections and maintain control, ensuring Uganda remains a pawn in global power struggles rather than a truly independent nation.

@MarthaKayug God loves you and is inviting you for a total transformation and conversion. As you pray, surrender totally to Jesus and weed out other vices in your life especially sex outside marriage, because it is a large channel for the enemy to set camps in our lives. Pray the Rosary also

@MwesigyeFranks That is a similar statement Obama made towards Trump sometimes back in his first term in office. Only that his statement was diplomatic and nonviolent... Fast forward, We all know that trump is now serving his second term in office.

@Sudhirntv Imagine that money was spent on training coffee farmers on how to manage coffee twig borer, a big pest in coffee yet easy to control using the right management. Do leaders sincerely care about citizen economic development kweli?

@MustaphaMugisa This is wonderful bro. You have just triggered something in me for my mum as well. As a staunch Catholic, by God's grace, I should take her to Holy land or Vatican or Lourdes etc. Thank you for treating your mum to this. You have just started a Treat your parent challenge

Yesterday, I fulfilled my mother’s dream of traveling by air. At 75 years old, she has seen and experienced it all, but never traveled by air.
Emirates made it extra interesting for her with a special gift. It’s not easy to raise more than five children as a single mom, but she did it. Now it’s our turn to take care of her.
The Swissotel hotel welcomed her in a fantastic way with a welcome cake and fruit basket. It feels great to make dreams come true! The smiles, the visible happiness, the new tall buildings, the flying and turbulence experience, seeing the clouds up close, the bird’s-eye view, the Dubai night sky experience, the wide roads, and the many people at the airport - everything is new and exciting.
