But the comparison doesn't work. EU residents made 1.19 billion trips in 2024; 92% stayed inside the EU thanks to Schengen, short distances, and cheap flights. Only ~8% went outside Europe.
Data on "different continent every single year for 10 years" doesn't exist because almost nobody does that anywhere. Most passport holders travel internationally occasionally, not annually long-haul.
Americans cover huge domestic variety in one country. Europeans do the same by crossing nearby borders. Geography explains the patterns more than wealth.
