Kristjaan Speakman deserves enormous credit for his work at Sunderland. He arrived on the 4th December 2020, with Sunderland 7th in League 1 and leaves us 11th in the Premier League. It wasn't always perfect, but some of the signings were brilliant. So many highlights... but

Looking back now, it’s sometimes hard to believe Kristjaan Speakman was once such a divisive figure among the fanbase. Arrived when the club was in League One, leaves the club secure in the Premier League five years later - and along the way he was heavily criticised by some for failing to get us there quicker and supposedly holding the club back. It is, of course, easy to judge now in hindsight when we have the complete picture. It was harder through the lens of frustration and emotion. But at the end of it all, there can be zero doubt that Speakman was an enormous success story at #SAFC

@JackAsbery I agree. Both Xbox and Bethesda were pretty foolish to not immediately greenlight some Fallout stuff. I always said even if the show was terrible, this is still a product that would be desired by people.
