That all makes a lot of sense - except for the change in trajectory of the missile upon impact. Is there video where it is demonstrated that this type of deflection and sudden/significant change in trajectory reliability repeated? Physics is weird and can often be unintuitive, but as of this moment it seems that a missile of that mass and velocity isn’t going to alter course as dramatically as this video has captured.

Also, the Hellfire has a variant that is none explosive. It's bladed and meant to shred it's target. It's the R9X

I teach 2 undergrad courses this semester, & today I talked to both about cultural drift. Seems they understood & believed me, that due to weak selection our civ is on track to decline & be replaced by Amish/Haredim/etc. Some thought it a bit sad, but most just didn't care.
