HOUSTON CONTROL. That’s what I was called by my biggest account in the furniture business in my 20s as well as by the factory I worked for. HOUSTON CONTROL. I was the rep and coordinator between the factory and the largest customer, making sure everything performed and the business kept flowing. When impossible delivery schedules were made possible, that was my role. Sometimes it was a struggle. But it always got done. Always! My job was to make him look like a hero...every time. Fifty years later… the buyer and I are still great friends. And when I hear from him, the first words out of his mouth are: HOUSTON CONTROL. Today, I’m the Domain King. Before that, I was The Webfather. Same role. Different scale. And I still love every minute of it.
