To walk this earth blind is not the same as having no vision. To walk by faith unchanged by the hand dealt is to live life as a visionary and to love life as humans were meant. Seek. Never settle. Inspire. Never complain. Rise. Never stay down. 💪🏼 #NoLegsNoVisionNoProblem

Below is a good news story. We all could use some good news about now. Way to go Army COVID / Vaccine reinstatement team!! You just recouped an amazing leader in CW5 Kelly (Master Aviation Warrant), phenomenal Army family and a 10 million dollar asset! We need more leaders that stood their ground under the previous regime like CW5 Kelly to be FULLY reinstated! God bless those who serve our country in our nation’s military. @SecWar
Theresa M Long, MD, MPH, FS@LTCTheresaLong

It was early in the "COVID wars". I had just submitted my affidavit in the Robert v Austin case and my command was trying to order me not to talk to anyone about my concerns. I got a call from Mrs Kelly and her husband CW5 Kelly late one night. CW5 Kelly was one of the Army's most experienced and senior pilots. He had 35 years of service, numerous deployments as an Apache pilot, and he was faced with the COVID vax mandate. It was a tense, emotional conversation. It was before I had found the DMED data but far enough into the insanity that I had seen the carnage. I took every call, text message and email, 24x7. That night it was CW5 Kelly. Servicemembers were desperate to make a good decision, knowing there were risks, feeling something was off, their spirit unsettled...they reached out for facts, not narratives. Good pilots do risk benefit assessments...CW5 Kelly was looking for good intel. His number one priority was making sure he did nothing that would harm his family or his ability to take care of and provide for them. I told him "don't trade your birthright for a bowl of soup". We talked, we prayed together and in the end CW5 Kelly HELD THE LINE and stayed true to his convictions, he obeyed God and left the consequences to Him. Today, in what was a very emotional day for me, I stood in the VCSA's office and proudly watched CW5 Kelly be reinstated into the Army. A pilot with his level of expertise and experience is invaluable. We just watched CW5 Eric A. Slover recieve the MoH, his skill and courage saved lives and ensured mission success...CW5 pilots are multimillion dollar highly skilled assets...SECDEF Austin and Gen Mark Miley valued a narrative more than the 35 year sacrifice and commitment of a man and his family...today SECWAR and General Christopher C. LaNeve welcomed CW5 Kelly and his family back into the Army!! Way to go Army reinstatement team!! You just recouped an amazing leader, phenomenal Army family and a 10 million dollar asset! Absolutely amazing to meet this WWII hero! 🇺🇸🫡

March 6, 1945 | D+15, Battle of Iwo Jima Two weeks after the brutal D-Day landings on February 19, and nearly two weeks since the flag rose on Mount Suribachi, the fight was far from over. Marines pushed deeper into the island's northern hellscape—volcanic ridges, fortified caves, and the notorious "Meatgrinder" around Hill 382—where every advance meant blasting bunkers, clearing tunnels with flamethrowers, and trading fire in savage close combat. Casualties mounted daily as Japanese defenders refused to yield an inch. Marine Raider Frank Wright was in the thick of it. Enlisting at just 16, he'd already survived malaria after Guadalcanal, then ferocious hand-to-hand fighting and multiple bayonet wounds on Guam. Recovering barely in time, he landed on Iwo Jima and charged into the grinder at Hill 382, a 382-foot-high fortified knob that formed the heart of this deadly complex—along with nearby Turkey Knob and the Amphitheater. This was a maze of interconnected tunnels, bunkers, pillboxes, and machine-gun nests that made it one of the toughest objectives on the island. During the intense close-quarters fighting at Hill 382, machine-gun rounds tore through Frank severely wounding him and forcing his evacuation. Despite these wounds, Frank Wright managed to survive. His raw account captures the unrelenting terror and unbreakable grit that soldiers faced during the Battle of Iwo Jima.

Saw the Sheepdog premiere last night. Heavy. Honest. Powerful. Hollywood tried to change it, so these veterans self-funded it for 13 years. No BS. Just truth. Phenomenal acting. Every actor had a personal connection to the military. It was personal...and it showed. One of the most authentic portrayals of veteran PTSD I’ve ever seen. It hurts, but it shows there is a path to healing. 🎬 Opens tomorrow in 500 theaters. Every veteran & civilian should see it. 👉 sheepdogthemovie.com #Veterans #PTSD #SheepdogMovie #Overcome
