🚨It’s been a couple of days now and there’s still a lot of unknowns surrounding Tiger’s accident. The charges against him are obviously very serious. We have yet to see the police report or body cam footage (if it exists). Even more notably, we still haven’t gotten a statement from Woods / his team like we got quickly in the past. Surely there’s probably a lot going on behind the scenes. We still don’t know when we see Tiger next (Masters) or if he disappears for months. Both scenarios wouldn’t entirely shock me. Came across a legal opinion on ABC’s affiliate in West Palm Beach, outlining some of the items at play. Thought it was interesting so I’m sharing it and will link the full article below in the comments. (Via @WPBF25News) Please note this is purely informational and this is also just one persons opinion. I’ve seen other opinions saying otherwise. Also, I’m not a lawyer and not pretending to be one and just because we’re TW fans, we do acknowledge the seriousness of the situation and what’s at play here as this could have been a much different outcome. ▫️The DUI Charges against him might not hold up in court according to Tarlika Nunez-Navarro, the dean and professor of Law at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens. The former Florida judge said there are a number of items at play in his case… ▫️“Florida DUI law requires proof of impairment — not just signs of impairment. Without a urine test, there is no chemical evidence of what substance was in his system or at what level. The prosecution will have to rely entirely on the officer's observations — lethargic appearance, field sobriety test performance — and Woods' lawyers will counter every single one of those observations with his documented medical history.” ▫️His existing injuries “can explain lethargic appearance and poor physical performance on roadside tests without any impairment at all.” ▫️“Florida law requires that a DUI suspect be held for eight hours OR until they register under 0.05 on a breathalyzer — whichever comes first. Woods blew 0.00. He should have been released within hours, not held the full eight hours. His lawyers may file a motion challenging the lawfulness of the detention itself. If the detention was unlawful, anything that happened during that time — statements, observations — could be suppressed.” ▫️ "Refusing a urine test in Florida triggers an automatic one-year license suspension and a separate criminal charge. But — it may have been the strategically correct decision. If Woods had taken the test and it showed prescription medication at therapeutic levels, prosecutors could still argue impairment. By refusing, his lawyers created reasonable doubt on the substance question entirely. The refusal charge carries less weight than a positive drug test in a DUI conviction.” ▫️ Woods was never actually convicted of DUI in 2017 (was reduced to reckless driving) “Prosecutors may not be able to use the 2017 case to trigger enhanced penalties because the conviction was for a different offense. His lawyers will argue this is legally his first DUI conviction.” Many unknowns right now. We wish the best for Tiger as a person and hope he gets whatever he needs to get better in every aspect. Also very thankful he’s alive and that nobody else was hurt as a result of the crash. ➡️ What are your thoughts?

@minakimes Yes, it’s wrong to flee federal officers and attempt to run one over.

The ghouls on this app are reacting to this the way you'd expect, but they are not real people. Real people--your neighbors, friends, anyone with a conscience--see this and feel angry and sad. Real people know it's wrong.

Renee Nicole Good, the woman shot & killed by an ICE agent, had a young son whose father died in 2023, according to the Star Tribune “There’s nobody else in his life,” the boy’s grandfather said. “I’ll drive. I’ll fly. To come get my grandchild.” huffpost.com/entry/latest-n…

Trust in legacy media has hit another all time low. Here’s a good question, who in media do you trust the most? I’m not asking who you agree with the most on their opinions, that’s a different question, I’m asking who do you trust to be honest with you and not lie?

These children were probably praying when they were shot to death at catholic school. Don’t give us your fucking thoughts and prayers. Trump got rid of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Trump gutted the resources that were in place to keep our communities safe.

ICYMI: @RepRaskin and I sent a letter on Friday demanding @AGPamBondi provide information about HPE’s acquisition of Juniper, based on reporting that suggests the Trump Administration overrode their own Antitrust Division officials who opposed the deal. We must know if the DOJ approved the deal on its merits or to help Trump’s friends.

As a mom of 4, including 3 teen boys, I’m furious & heartbroken. Government schools forced kids to get the Covid vaccine to play sports. Now, the FDA’s June 25 safety update reveals young males 12–24 face the highest risk of myocarditis & pericarditis. This betrayal cuts deep.

Headed to 30A for Thanksgiving. Need to meet the family who had the gigantic Trump won sign up for the past four years on their house on the road. Does anyone know them? Want to buy them a celebratory drink.

Since 1959, the US Money Supply (M2) has gone up each and every year, with the 0.3% increase in 1994 the smallest and the 25% increase in 2020 the largest. 2022 is on pace to be the first calendar year in which the Money Supply has fallen in the last 60+ years, down 0.6% YTD.

April 26, 2024. CNN roundtable discusses how Kamala Harris may actually be dragging Biden down in his bid for re-election.😂 They discussed the fact that people don't like her, including swing voters, and that her voice is annoying.🤣
