This caused lots of businesses to hire women for clerical/industrial jobs. This drove down wages as a whole. If you have twice the labor the cost of labor decreases.

They don't play by government rules and count every penny that comes through your bank account as real income. Before you give up entirely, try a local credit union.

I have never had an issue before. I have a bank that does all my business. I have 3 business checking accounts with them, a personal checking account and personal savings account.....and I have a mortgage on 25 acres with them that I am paid ahead on that I have had since 2017. I own a vet clinic. I was told by my own bank, Truist, that they would not do any type of home loan with me because I am self employed. I W-2 my wages and file my income taxes every year through an accountant. I can justify every single penny. My credit scores are always over 700....at the time I was turned down by my own bank....told to not even apply.....I had a score of 800. So......

@dogdoc1996 @bumbadum14 I used to be a loan officer. Most refi shops can get you settled in 2 weeks. It's not a tough process if your income docs are solid. If not go to a credit union near you. You'll get better rates anyways. It will take longer but the result is typically nicer.

I STILL can't get a refi on a house.......I got shafted on the original mortgage in 23......I tried to refi. Spent 2 months sending in documents.....like I'm a criminal.....and finally gave up. The underwriting was ridiculous and probably illegal. I'm a white small business owner with good credit......and all my privilege doesn't seem to be helping.

@User65271302 @hayasaka_aryan To me, the show gets good around the second season. Katara is the oldest of the group. She's supposed to be a bit more level headed. Sokka and Aang develop more as the series goes on. I'm not a Katara fan, but the show does get better as it goes on.

@KILLTOPARTY My brother hit his head pretty hard once and got a concussion, he's had many. It took 2 years for his short term memory to recover and he was angry a lot during that time. He's fine now. Maybe she will recover eventually too.

Homeschooling works for SOME families with SOME subjects at SOME ages. But pretending you can replicate 12+ years of specialized education with just "staying ahead of the kids" is wild. Kids need experts. They need peers. They need to know what "normal" looks like so they can find their place. That kid got to college thinking calculus was basic. That's not brilliance, that's just not knowing what the rest of the world is doing.

I went to Scientist School with a homeschooled kid. His parents didn't go to college. They figured they could just stay a bit ahead of their kids and do all right with homeschooling. But he got quite a shock when he went to college. He thought everyone knew calculus and latin.
