Stuff like this looks cool for a second because thats all we have these days. A second. But on a deeper level its completely lack luster. Its as if you have a shape of a car, but it lacks the engine, the wheels, a passenger seat and a steering wheel. But because it looks like a "car" it is a car. According to people like this. Sure you can replicate the general vibe of arcane here. But the reason you even want to replicate arcane is because of the thousands of hours of delicate craft and care that went into the show. I am not even going to dive into the details here of the animation. I am just saying. Stories matter because of humans. Just outsourcing the entire animation to an AI makes 0 sense for me as creator.

@dutchtide The animation you see. Built with AI - wasn't linear. It wasn't "make me arcane clip' it took time, dedication & he spawned something to his liking. This is a different medium of expression. A different canvas. The dude is good, he's playing now - wait till he cooks.

I eat meat every day and use Ai every day and it's exactly as moral as eating vegetables every day and sculpting with clay.

@asaio87 If it loads fast for the user, it should be fine. Also those metrics are tested on the worst devices, so for the most part modern devices work fine.

@JeandreGerber Who said anything about 10 seconds ? I had websites load in 2 seconds and the score was 60. Some say it would be a disaster. It was ranking fine.

Speed of the website is not an SEO ranking factor That doesnt mean your website speed must be trash If your website loads in a normal amount of time for humans then you are good Do not obsess over getting from 95 to 100 score that does not matter spend your time building backlinks rather than those stupid metrics.

I know for a fact that big consumer companies have entire orgs dedicated to “reaching the youngins” and somehow those teams are always staffed by Gen X “hello fellow kids” retards and millennial brand goblins whose entire understanding of youth culture comes from TikTok and Reels. Somehow these companies think a 55yo parent whose “kids” are already in college, or some terminally online childless millennial who thinks teenagers are like adult cats is going to authentically understand Gen Z or Gen Alpha.

@amandafortini Because maybe their in it for the world-building, the development of a universe, to expand beyond the scope of "just writing". To incorporate other elements into the experience of content. I am a writer and I also use AI and sometimes I don't. Depends on the use case.

❗️❗️❗️ YOUTUBE DEMONETIZED ME FOR 113 DAYS FOR INAUTHENTIC CONTENT. MY STORY ❗️❗️❗️ (Long post. Please watch the attached video / read and share this post. Thank you in advance.) For the past 113 days, YouTube has demonetized my 160K subscriber channel for “Inauthentic Content,” and I want to tell my story because I think people need to see what’s happening right now. I’ve been VERY patient but unfortunately YouTube has not been responsive over the last few weeks, so I'm making this post... And of course I hope this could be shared enough so that someone from YouTube can see this and take another look at my channel. ⭐️Three years ago, I started a narrative-driven educational channel focused on mythology & folklore, called Mythical Arcana. What began as a passion project slowly turned into a full-time career with an incredible community of people passionate about mythology, folklore, history, storytelling, and discussion. Over the years, I’ve spent thousands of dollars and thousands of hours researching, writing, editing, creating visuals, producing narration, building thumbnails, and constantly improving the quality of my videos. On January 28th, 2026, my channel was demonetized for “Inauthentic Content.” ❌ The reason given: “mass-produced, repetitive, templated, replicable at scale.” The problem is… I genuinely do not believe that description reflects the content I create. Every video is a different topic, and addresses different themes. My writing style evolved from poetic and metaphoric to being more direct, simple and analytical. Just simply watching a few videos will show how each one is created with intention, and a unique vision in mind, different from the rest. I appealed, but was told to make changes and reapply after 90 days. No specific examples were provided. When I asked for clarification, I was told that they could not give specifics and that I as the creator know my own content best, and therefore would know how my videos violated their terms…. How can I fix something if I don’t know exactly what I did… At the time, the only thing I could think of was that I had repurposed my long form content, and created a lot of Shorts. While many people do this, I thought, maybe… I created TOO many, and it looked mass produced…? So I sucked it up, and went with my gut. 🛠 I removed every short from my channel, deleted over 25 videos, introduced more visible transformative elements like a custom 2D avatar as the host to appear throughout the video (especially during my interpretive commentary), and began creating entirely new series outside of my normal mythology deep dives. After waiting the full 90 days, I reapplied. Rejected again. So I submitted a detailed appeal video showing my entire creative process and the hours of manual work required to create a single video. In my appeal, I explicitly showed: 👉 Brainstorming, outlining, scripting, revisions, and research 👉 Adding my own interpretations and explanations 👉 3 years of Adobe Premiere project files 👉 Thumbnail creation in Photoshop 👉 Voiceover production using a custom voice I CREATED 👉Visual creation and animations 👉 How I manually write image prompts for consistent character design and to create SPECIFIC scenes 👉 Editing and pacing decisions, why and when I use certain visuals 👉 How I built my intros, outros, and chapter transitions in After Effects and Premiere I was also completely transparent about using AI tools in parts of my workflow — something YouTube explicitly allows under their policies. But the ideas, structure, interpretations, commentary, editing decisions, and final videos are all created by me. This channel is not an automated content farm. Not mass-produced. Not repetitive. Not low effort. And Not templated. It’s years of work, experimentation, creativity, storytelling, and genuine passion poured into hundreds of videos. Videos which contain details that you would NOT be able to find from any ONE singular source on the internet. Every video is different. Different topics, different focus, different characters. Scripts are always created from scratch. Visuals are never repeated, and are always created SPECIFICALLY for THAT video. Editing is ALWAYS manual… Despite all of this, my appeal was rejected AGAIN. At this point I’m not clear on what I need to do. I’m a husband and a father. I have responsibilities to my family. YouTube already withheld my January 2026 earnings, thousands of dollars, and for nearly 4 months, my channel has generated no income. This was money I worked for. Money I needed. Income my family depended on. 💼 At this point, I’m simply asking for a true individualized human review and clear communication regarding what specifically was considered “inauthentic.” Because right now, it just looks like my visuals and voiceovers are being flagged, despite them being allowed as per YouTube’s own policies. YouTube has NOT been responsive to me on X. I’ve asked for a case ID, clarification, and specifics, but I have been ignored. I’ve contacted creator support, and they said they would open an investigation and that I would receive an update through email, but I never got an answer. 🛑 ⭐️ I even asked them if AI visuals and voiceovers are allowed for monetization and they said they “COULD NOT ANSWER THAT QUESTION.” Also, take a look at the changes made in July 2025. YouTube changed repetitious content to inauthentic content, they specifically said that they are just renaming it and that nothing has changed… Which even @reneritchie clarified... IF that’s the case, then how was I accepted in YPP, given a 100k Play button reward, and how was I monetized for 2 years? What did I do wrong? 🤔 I’ve even decided to start using my own face and my own voice for the voiceovers going forward, as proof that a human DOES run this channel. I’ve asked that they please take this into consideration when reviewing my channel. My latest video and my new channel trailer are both live right now featuring my real face and voice. But is that enough? Do I need to delete all my older content? Will they come after me for using ai visuals despite showing my face and using my real voice? I don’t know. I wish it were clear. Honestly… this situation has been devastating, both mentally and physically. I can’t sleep, I have no appetite, I’ve lost over 10lbs, I’m stressed all the time, and I can’t even spend time with my family because this is all I can think about…. 💔 I know many creators are afraid to speak publicly about situations like this, but I genuinely don’t know what else to do anymore. This generation doesn't want power, so they can be relieved of responsibility. Man is addicted to power and the only thing that can make us repulsed by it is if power takes us off the couch. Do not shirk off the tool of Ai, for we are still responsible for our times. In fact, if we are born here and now we were put here for the specific reason of being in this time. We are appointed to be here by God and not participating in tech, family, art or politics is to quit before the battle has even started. Get your facts straight to make sure you are fighting on the right side before you do damage with your sword. Why did God put here here in this time? He gives you the answer a little farther down in the Bible: Acts 17:27 "God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us." So that we would seek Him and find Him. In the end all tools, opportunities and gifts ought to be used so that we can find God and so that others can find Him. Use power accordingly.

@StealthQE4 That's a myopic take. On one side sure. On the other side it's the best time to build independent systems and actually build the solutions you want. But as long as you remain distracted by what "the other" is doing - you won't set up the foundation for a better future.

Adding to this: Do not create for the approval of others. Your art is not required to feed everyone. Create for your heart. The world is full of people who will listen and enjoy what your muse has to say, no matter what the message or meaning is.

The thing about AI is that it allows a guy in Vietnam and a guy in Seattle to fulfill their dreams of becoming an animator and a composer, respectively. I love this opportunity. I hope more of you take the same chances that we're taking. It's a glorious future.
