You need to make a decisive decision either way. Your current position is direct sex discrimination against females.
Delete all the results to remove all competitive elements, or ensure the female category is female only, no males allowed.

As we reach the end of another week, I've still not seen justification why a non-competitive community participation event needs to publish results, and if it chooses to do so then why the results must be categorised by gender. Lots of fab alternative category suggestions though!

Even without formal policing, social disapproval made that hard to carry off. It was also easier for PR volunteers to challenge as clearer cut that male shouldn’t be in female cat.

This is now my most liked post on X.
Males have a physiological advantage over females. In the example I gave below, I’m a local class at best male, running similar times to world class females.
So to still say that men should be allowed in women’s sports is even more idiotic.

Today I ran sub 1:10 in a local half marathon, and didn’t get on the podium. A female who runs sub 1:10 is world class, and almost qualifies to represent Team GB at the World Road Running Championships. The reality of biology. People who defend men in women’s sports are idiots.

At the same time, it also added additional categories of “prefer not to say” and “another gender identity”. PR claims to have done “extensive consultation” before changing sex to gender.

Fun run - no times, no placings, no categories; just oodles of fun for all; or
Race - times, placings, categories, publication of such things for the glory of the winners & to incentivise the losers.
Choose.
The two horses cannot be ridden at same time.

@jamesdavis6939 The female category is an inclusion measure - women used not to be allowed to play sport at all. Parkrun had a female category. Without it, few females would ever come in the top three overall or in age category. Now parkrun lets men into that category and calls it "inclusion"

I've done many parkruns. As an elite athlete, club runner, while pregnant, pushing a buggy, pregnant AND pushing a buggy, and accompanying my son. No performance was more valid than any other. All deserved a fair result in a female category excluding men.
