I moved from Idaho to Tennessee. I went from being able to drive 30 minutes & camp or shoot wherever to having to drive over an hour & having to pay ridiculous fees with onerous paved campground requirements. No dispersed camping. I hate it.

Well, no. The kids are cooked. You have students saying that they’ve never done any kind of thinking on their own, and AI is a replacement for their own cognition.
So whatever criticism you have of higher ed, you still have a generation that can’t and don’t want to think.

@Jasaffron100 @_Zeets I mean when both calculators and computers came out, some engineers were indeed cooked and some buildings collapsed because of overreliance on design programs. Today we teach new engineers that if they can't do a design by hand, they shouldn't rely on a program.
