You might be unsure how much to spend, what channels to focus on, how to set targets, how many emails you should send, where you should send traffic... The amount of decisions you have to make leading up to, and during the sale, is enormous. I’ve managed BFCM sales for the last 5 years, with 7 to 9 figure brands in almost every vertical. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. And I know the uncertainty leading up to this time. The questions, the second-guessing, the stress… It can feel really lonely. (I know, I’ve been there.) I'm no stranger to optimizing Meta campaigns late into the night on Black Friday, or getting calls from the CEO/CMO during Thanksgiving dinner. Or banging your head against the wall because someone forgot to put the discount on the PDP page. Every year, I became a better and better BFCM operator. I learned from mistakes and developed systems to never encounter them again. I've trained teams of media buyers and managed full business strategy for 9-figure brands during BFCM. I've seen what is needed to make the weekend successful. From sale design, to targets & tracking, to media channel oversight (TOF & BOF), to daily (sometimes hourly) decisions, to team management and reporting. I've done it all. 2 reasons why @USPS is about to lose hundreds of millions of dollars because of the new Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) program 1. Fulfillment TikTok Shop requires 2-day fulfillment and tracking information needs to be updated immediately. USPS has an extremely outdated model and tracking information sometimes takes up to 5 business days to get updated. FBT will become the go-to fulfillment choice for brands who want to sell on TTS and not deal with the violation points. 2. Shipping Incentives TikTok is offering a lot of shipping incentives but they will soon only offer it to FBT sellers. Currently, they offer 90 days of free storage and free shipping for orders over $20. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered a service similar to Amazon Prime with 2-day shipping within the next year. They might also only offer subscriptions to sellers who are doing FBT. FBT is still a new program but it will be interesting to see how it's going to impact the shipping wars. Has anyone tried it? How has your experience been?

Since @9operators already dropped guess I should announce this 👇😅 Almost 2 months ago I left my full time job as a Director of ECOM. I didn’t have a fully-baked plan. I only knew 2 things for sure: 1. My husband and I were going to move out of the country for at least a year. We realized that if we were ever going to do it, now is the time. 2. Whoever I worked with next had to align with my values. In comes @Jordan56413265... I met Jordan when I was at CTC. After being promoted to Growth Strategy, I took over his account among a few others. And he was the first client I lost. Then he asked to come back. If he could work with me. I was honored. But shortly after, I left CTC and went in-house at another brand. Nevertheless, we stayed in touch over the years. The more I got to know Jordan, the more I liked him. He’s driven for success, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 he’s committed to transparency, accountability, and data-driven decisions. Add to that his brand continues to grow and has huge untapped potential. Finally, the stars aligned. Starting in July, I will be the new Fractional Head of Growth at @_alphalion_ . I am honored and excited to step into this opportunity for what I believe will be the start of some incredible growth ahead.
