@newscomauHQ This just in. The Australian government has ruthlessly taxed it's workers and had a bonfire with the money every year for 2 decades.

@michaelfrazis Then fired or outsourced a alot of the staff. Then pretended like he was being a good guy by not taking his bonuses while deferring them to future years. Then made massive profits took all the bonuses and bailed.

I look at the ASX Top 20 and for the life of me I have no idea where the growth is going to come from... Banks - household debt and credit growth has been stretched to where it can be stretched no more Supermarkets / Wesfarmers - some top line revenue growth from govt importing infinity immigrants, but their margins are under pressure in a high cost inflationary environment Goodman - on an insane multiple, reliant on data centre story which our energy policy cannot deliver So maybe we need resources to pump? Commodities super cycle? Thoughts ?

@rationalaussie Won't people sell their Bitcoin to pay for their mortgage because they have no job? This will crash the price. Also they won't have any money to buy more Bitcoin and drive the price to the moon.

There is going to be mass unemployment of white collar workers by 2028 and it will collapse the entire debt based Ponzi scheme western governments have relied on for decades to paper over the cracks of a fake economy. The bubble will burst, they will try print again and hand out UBI, but this time they'll get either hyperinflation or social revolution, or both. Bitcoin hits $1m USD by end of 2028 as the world grapples with the biggest sovereign debt crisis in the history of mankind. We are very close to the End Game now. There is no stopping this.

@VisualCap @VoronoiApp I saw this post elsewhere claiming Indonesia had gained forests. Which has to be a total fraud. The Indo government will be almost certainly reporting this incorrectly. I've watched thousands of hectares get torched to make palm plantations right next to the palm plantations.

@mattDCLXVI I think its a lord of the rings type one where the cunts are drawn to the cuntish power of the ford ranger which only exaggerates and exacerbates their cuntishness once they get a shit finance deal on one.

@GuntherEagleman They don't send it to other countries. The government spends it on its millions of employees who do almost nothing.

@PeterOfPerth @TMFScottP This is spot on. Retail power price in Canada is 10-12c per KWH Australia is 25c. Canada and Australia are similar in so many ways it makes no sense that power costs double.

@TMFScottP Reckless govt spending into the non productive parts of the economy whilst crushing the productive part with sky high energy prices and customers nobbled with massive shelter costs. Stagflation was inevitable. How could it go any other way? Lemming economists didn’t see it.

Ugly. No other word for it. Inflation is too high, and annualising the last quarter (a dangerous thing to do, but broadly indicative, more often than not) gives an even higher number than the actual annual rate, suggesting possible acceleration. We've lost ground in the war.

@nonestlex The government taxes us private sector guys then takes all the money and employs like 30 percent of the entire country then gives a good chunk of them free flights all over the place for any generally no reason. Mostly with Quntas ofcourse. Doesn't take many flights to get gold.

I’m in the QANTAS Business Class lounge and it is PACKED. Don’t listen to people who tell you everyone is poor. There is money EVERYWHERE. The two women sitting next to me are wearing an Aboriginal Land Corporation shirt. Get on the gravy train or die in poverty.

@TMFScottP The government should leave people's super alone. People with large super balances should not leech off the government. If you start attacking super maybe I will just buy Lamborghini's and spend 100k a year on holidays then leech off the government when I'm old.

A worthy goal for individuals. Also, evidence that Super incomes are way too generous relative to the same level of labour income. It's time to tax Super incomes at marginal rates above a generous tax-free threshold.

Health Minister Mark Butler defended the policy but did not deny its impact would grow by saying “one in 200 people would be currently caught by this” He is lying to all Australians. This tax on unrealised gains will impact every Australian. Read the discussion paper and sign the petition wilsonassetmanagement.com.au/unrealisedgain…
