NEW: Tom Homan says live on @FoxNews this is just going to be a “short term pause, a short term review”, and he doesn’t believe it will greatly affect arrest numbers. He says ICE agents still have other options, including arresting targets before they get in a “2,000 lb weapon” or after they get out of it. He says arrests and deportations reached all time highs last month and that momentum will continue after this “temporary pause”.

In speaking with numerous ICE sources today, most are expressing frustration that this will cause their arrest numbers to fall off a cliff while in effect. A large majority of their arrests involve vehicle stops. They will now largely have to rely on court arrests, detainer transfers, USCIS interviews, or “consensual encounters”/roving patrols on foot to make arrests in bigger numbers. ICE prefers to target people in their vehicles instead of their homes because homes require a judicial warrant to enter and vehicles are considered safer (someone can run into a home and grab a weapon etc) and targets can be followed to public areas where warrants aren’t required. In all the ICE embeds I’ve done over the years, I would say 90% + of the targets were arrested in vehicle stops, though, they were egregious aliens (murderers, rapists etc), and those vehicle stops are still allowed to continue for now. This will have a bigger impact on targets in the U.S. illegally who have committed no other crimes.

This comes after two people were killed by ICE in shootings in TX and ME in the last week in incidents that began as vehicle stops. DHS alleges one of those incidents was a ramming attempt. I’m told this will be temporary until ICE officers receive new training on vehicle stops. The policy change will have significant impacts as many of ICE’s arrests begin as vehicle stops when they find and follow a target, as we’ve witnessed on multiple embeds. More to come as we get it. This isn't going to cut it. 100% of every American immigration problem-- including fatal ICE encounters, needs to be laid at the feet of the Democrat party and pro-amnesty Republicans who allowed this to happen through importing tens of millions of illegals over many decades while refusing to enforce American laws that demanded their repatriation. Until every GOP official feels this in their bones, and enforce America's laws without apology, we will never get the immigration policy our voters demand-- which is the only immigration policy that can save America.

This is one reason it is unfair to erase property taxes on seniors. It’s redistribution of wealth from the working less-wealthy to the non-working wealthy. Complaints about the young favoring socialism are not credible from people who demand wealth redistribution for themselves.

Justice Elena Kagan’s inconsistent recusal history undermines confidence in the impartiality of the Supreme Court. Her latest failure to recuse herself comes after she wrote the introduction to the National Academies’ reference manual, effectively giving a judicial endorsement to its biased climate science chapter, which was written with the cooperation of climate lawfare litigators. Justice Kagan’s participation in the Suncor case is indefensible given her public endorsement of climate lawfare plaintiffs’ theories. Friends, it took some time as there were a couple holdups. BUT--I got my test results. NEGATIVE! No microscopic cancer DNA found in my blood, and that includes testing to match the DNA in my lung lesion!!!! Doesn't guarantee I won't have another battle with cancer in the future, but in terms of likelihood it is VERY good news and I'm in tears of gratitude by myself while my fam is at a movie. (I'm supposed to be writing 😂). Feeling overwhelmed all of the sudden and am going to try to take some time off this site for awhile to enjoy the goodness of God. Thank you for your prayers, all. Grateful to know that while X may not be "real life," the friends I've made on here are absolutely real friends!! "I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. OK, so I screwed up my calendar and it turns out the test that will look for “minimal residual disease” in my blood is tomorrow at 11:30 am and not on April 30! So prayer warrior friends, if you would send one up for me for negative test between now and then, I would be very grateful!

The problem of honor is more important than the First Amendment in explaining why we do not fight porn. Prosecuting porn is yucky. Juries dont want to see disgusting images. Neither do judges or lawyers. No one wants to be called a scold. with @calebforidaho in @FDRLST
