In yet another escalation of Europe's war on free speech, Finland's supreme court considers whether to punish a bishop and member of parliament for quoting the Bible. Lower courts cleared them of all charges.

@JoyPullmann Carmel has one of the largest high schools in the nation. You literally send your kids to school with hordes of people.

Yes but please don’t come here, we like living free from hordes of people.
Governor Mike Braun@GovBraun

Indiana continues its win streak! Carmel was just named the #1 best place to live in the United States by U.S. News & World Report, and Fishers earned the #2 spot. Noblesville (18), Greenwood (26), and Columbus (69) also ranked among the top 100. Indiana communities continue to lead the nation because of our culture of Hoosier hospitality, strong family values, safe neighborhoods, great schools, and a growing economy that gives people the chance to succeed. realestate.usnews.com/places/ranking…

America is not a nation of immigrants. It is a nation of settlers, created by a distinct people for a distinct people. We know this because the Founders wrote it into our founding documents: the purpose of the United States is to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”
Jonathan Turley@JonathanTurley

I strongly disagree with the push for a constitutional amendment to bar foreign-born legislators. foxnews.com/politics/mace-… While I have suggested the possible tinyurl.com/f86u4tce, I cannot think of anything more antithetical to our founding than barring foreign-born citizens from Congress. As a nation of immigrants, it is a reaffirmation of our heritage to have these citizens serve in government...

A better question for Thune would be: how personally responsible do you feel for Trump’s endorsement of Paxton given that you failed to pass the Save America Act, which Paxton said was the one thing that would prompt him to drop out of the race?

Republicans could have had Adam Laxalt and Blake Masters in the Senate. They didn't want to fund those races. They don't get to whine about narrow Senate majorities after giving $100,000,000 for John amnesty Cornyn to fail to get 50% in a primary.

When the chips were down, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton joined The Federalist in its successful lawsuit against the Biden administration for illegally censoring us. John Cornyn didn’t do a thing to help, but he did call me a Nazi sympathizer for calling shenanigans on his idiotic Ukraine war propaganda. thefederalist.com/2023/03/21/cor…

The DC freakout over Trump’s endorsement in Texas of someone they loathe is hilarious because they want you to believe the Senate, WHICH FAILED TO EVEN PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT!!!!!!, will now begin to fail to do things to advance the GOP agenda, lol.
Jake Sherman@JakeSherman

Josh is right here. Cassidy, Cornyn will have zero incentive to do anything. Combine that with in-cycle Republicans -- reconciliation 3.0 looks miles away

What a great book and what a great conversation. Hopefully you already tuned in to America Out Loud radio network earlier today but if not, no worries. The replay is at 8pm ET right here on X or on Rumble. Joy Pullmann and I discuss how the Pride movement is being used to reshape law, education, and the structure of the family in real time. What looks like cultural expression now carries legal force, policy backing, and consequences that reach into schools, workplaces, and public life. It is aimed at our children! Joy breaks down the ideology behind it. In her book, she traces how sexual politics moved from the margins into the center of power, and why that shift is not accidental.   What does “queer politics” actually mean? You will hear how the breakdown of the family connects directly to the breakdown of social order. @JoyPullmann See you at 8pm ET tonight. rumble.com/v7a0yhk-why-qu…

This is an extraordinary press release in ways that will take time to fully register. The language itself is unprecedented for a DOJ announcement. For the first time, “weaponization” and “lawfare” are being treated not as political buzzwords, but as formal categories within a federal framework for compensation and redress. A structured legal mechanism now exists under which the post-2016 lawfare landscape is officially recognized as state misconduct. In effect, a federal process has been established for systematically documenting lawfare abuses. Irrespective of the sums ultimately distributed, the archival and legitimizing function is historically profound. There will finally be an official record of institutional abuses during the Trump era. Huge kudos to Todd Blanche for getting this done. The significance of this cannot be overstated.
U.S. Department of Justice@TheJusticeDept

🚨Justice Department Announces Anti-Weaponization Fund: Part of settlement agreement in President Donald J. Trump v. Internal Revenue Service Per the settlement, plaintiffs will receive a formal apology but no monetary payment or damages of any kind. There are no partisan requirements to file a claim. Any money left when the Fund ceases operations will revert to the Federal Government. There is legal precedent for such a Fund, most notably the “Keepseagle” case where the Obama Administration created a $760 million fund to redress various claims alleging racism against the federal government over a period of decades. @JoyPullmann In homeschooling circles, there are a million great ancient history books, but well done, non “woke” American history books are rarer… Thank you for highlighting this!

"This is an adventure book through the land its readers inhabit: its people, its vistas, even its animals. You can tell Mehan traveled the United States to write this book. His love, patriotism, and laughter are almost audible in the pages." More of my review @FDRLST, 🔗below:
