Indiana continues its win streak! Carmel was just named the #1 best place to live in the United States by U.S. News & World Report, and Fishers earned the #2 spot. Noblesville (18), Greenwood (26), and Columbus (69) also ranked among the top 100. Indiana communities continue to lead the nation because of our culture of Hoosier hospitality, strong family values, safe neighborhoods, great schools, and a growing economy that gives people the chance to succeed. realestate.usnews.com/places/ranking…

I strongly disagree with the push for a constitutional amendment to bar foreign-born legislators. foxnews.com/politics/mace-… While I have suggested the possible tinyurl.com/f86u4tce, I cannot think of anything more antithetical to our founding than barring foreign-born citizens from Congress. As a nation of immigrants, it is a reaffirmation of our heritage to have these citizens serve in government...

THUNE tells me of Trump’s Paxton endorsement: “It’s his decision.” Thune, like other Republican senators, was stone-faced as he walked into lunch. Thune also threw up his left hand as he said it. (If you know John Thune, that counts as pretty deep anger.)

Josh is right here. Cassidy, Cornyn will have zero incentive to do anything. Combine that with in-cycle Republicans -- reconciliation 3.0 looks miles away

🚨Justice Department Announces Anti-Weaponization Fund: Part of settlement agreement in President Donald J. Trump v. Internal Revenue Service Per the settlement, plaintiffs will receive a formal apology but no monetary payment or damages of any kind. There are no partisan requirements to file a claim. Any money left when the Fund ceases operations will revert to the Federal Government. There is legal precedent for such a Fund, most notably the “Keepseagle” case where the Obama Administration created a $760 million fund to redress various claims alleging racism against the federal government over a period of decades.
