@Queen_primis Married 40-plus years.
Wife has never intruded on my “private” time. Never interrogated me about one thing.
Makes breakfast every morning, dinner every night.
I have never met a woman like her. Best human-being on God’s earth.

@CDInewsletter You can't lose with VDY or VEQT. Vanguard is the winning ticket.

Here's the ridiculously easy investment plan I suggest to friends with zero interest in finance:
1. Set up auto withdrawals to the brokerage account
2. Dollar-cost average into either $VEQT.TO, $VBAL.TO, or $VDY.TO, depending on what motivates them.
3. Keep a little bit of $ aside outside of the brokerage account and buy when everyone else is freaking out
Simple is almost always best, and is doubly important when there's no desire to learn more.

@yegwave Lol even if this is true, the damage is already done by hiring the third world scum they already brought in. The quality of @TimHortons is trash. I could never go back. When you think of TH, you think of hepatitis and poor hygiene.

Strange placement of Indian foods relegated to cleaning and pet supplies aisle @WholeFoods Ottawa. 🧐

H1B Tightening and Mass layoff in the same 2 years are not conincidental.
Its by design.
They are removing Non americans from the system. (Specially Indians)
Every time layoff happens, all H1B need to leave USA within 60 days bcz getting job in such short period in such market is next to impossible.
Its a strategic Purge.
In 2-3 years you will see CEO positions reversing to whites again.

@kieronbutton17 I've been playing with the idea to count for points for certain actions.... Just worried the scores might get out of hand and actual scoring (ball in net) goes down.

Youth Football/Soccer Coaches: Turn boring sessions into competitive battles! ⚽👇🏼
5 quick ways to boost competition:
1️⃣ Small-Sided Only, 3 v 3, 4v4 or 5v5. More touches, more intensity.
2️⃣ Points = Everything. Score for goals, tackles, passes. Visible scoreboard = World Cup vibes.
3️⃣ King of the Ring 1v1s – Winner stays. 30-sec timer. They’ll fight to stay on.
4️⃣ Conditioned Rules – like time limits. For example, score in 8 secs. Instant pressure.
5️⃣ Mini Tournament Finish – Last 15 mins: round-robin + prizes. Pure buzz.
Competition creates fun AND better players.

@nostalgiacore Def miss these days..... I think it stopped around 2013....

@Jpan241 @PeterPrickett You aren't stealing anything, just borrowing an idea. Now is down to you how you present that idea to your team/players and on the grass😉

Sharing a Principles of Play presentation I did a couple of years ago.
A deeper look at how I approach principles of play in possession (26 mins).
This covers the framework I use to structure sessions and guide player behaviour, based on my book.
Focus on:
• Playing forward
• Supporting around the ball
• Using width
The aim is to give players clear reference points without over-coaching, while keeping the game realistic.

@HubFcc @PeterPrickett This is actually a really intelligent response. I tend to align with this way of thinking. I think I'm going to steal this haha.
English

@PeterPrickett Your principles are your identity as a coach and as a team. How you defend, how you attack isn't about systems or shapes, as those vary throughout the actions of the game. Principles are the pillars that support the shapes and formations in the games.

Beyond one single license that ensures you know about things like safety protocols, soccer coaching "licenses" everywhere should be abolished.
Now, the federations could [and arguably should] offer educational courses, but not as gatekeeping mechanisms (aka licenses).
Generally, licenses are supposed to be about protecting the public from serious and dire consequences.
Professions that make sense to impose license requirements:
✅Medicine
✅Law
✅Construction
✅Pilots
✅Electricians
You get it.
But to coach soccer?
GTFOH
The principle reason these soccer "licenses" exist today is to serve as yet another lever in preserving/increasing power centralization.

@DreamDividend To answer the question, there is no amount that is too many dividends. It's infinite. Never cap it
English

My journey since reporting it on social:

2023 = $93,968
