@robert_ivanhoe Excerpt from Reuters: While the north of Western Australia is known for its heavily diesel-reliant iron ore mining sector dominated by the AX), - the fuel will be directed to remote, off-grid Aboriginal communities and agriculture, Premier Roger Cook said in a statement.

The Australian mining industry is now on the verge of collapse due to diesel shortages. One of the country’s last two refineries is in flames, and the fuel supply chain that powers every drill, truck, and haul is about to snap. This isn’t an isolated incident. It’s the inevitable result of years of policy choices colliding with reality.

@Breaking911 You might be interested in this video....it explains why Australia has only two refineries - youtu.be/Fu6xnDSZyHM?si… in other words.....this was sabotage and depending on size.....major major problem

🤔What strikes me these days is the incredibly low numbers of Likes🩷 & Re-tweets🔄 for #Uranium #stocks news & coverage.⚛️⛏️😔We seem to be back at the Boom stage emerging from a Bear Trap as there's virtually zero Media Attention, no re-rates of major U stocks.. dead quiet!🦗🤷‍♂️

@simongerman600 Yup. And sadly, potentially a lot more people in these generations will be solely focused on value distribution, not value creation. We know how that ends.

Australian politics still looks like an old person’s game. But that’s about to change. A slow generational handover is underway. Not through a dramatic takeover, but through gradual shifts as traditional party structures weaken and new pathways into politics emerge. This matters because younger cohorts don’t just bring different ages. They bring different priorities, different lived experiences, and a stronger focus on solving problems rather than fighting ideological battles. The result could be a very different style of politics in Australia. Less theatre. More delivery. And that might be exactly what voters have been waiting for. My latest column explores what this “youthification” of politics could look like and why it is happening now: thenewdaily.com.au/opinion/2026/0…

@LocantroTony @VirginAustralia I agree mate, the #Qantas fares are very high. I just flew back from Sydney on DJ, half the price. I’m a lifetime Gold QF flyer but just can’t justify the difference.

@VirginAustralia Economy X is a great product for not much more. Here is the gap between it and business and I doubt they're getting much more for the extra $1300. Now a full convert from Qantas, where the #Perth to #Sydney flights are now ridiculous and hundreds more Highly rec

@ctindale @jam_croissant But Craig, aren’t they different not transferrable skills. We need electricians, unless accountants re train the numbers might be even but that won’t matter in a practical sense?

@jam_croissant If you take away the jobs lost to AI , then add back in the accelerated retirement due to aging demographics, matched to the same category of AI employment losses you end up skills shortages not jobs Armageddon

Theoretically, if it became US govt policy that no #Nuclear reactor fuel buyers inside the US were to be permitted to sign #Uranium purchase contracts with foreign suppliers below a fixed floor price, say $120 for example, then those buyers would be driven to sign supply contracts with US domestic uranium producers at contract pricing far above today's world prices. US miners would then receive far higher revenue from their sales, which would in turn cause their share prices to soar. Or, those US buyers could accept the high price floor on their foreign imports, which would then mean that the foreign suppliers would receive far higher revenue from their sales, which would cause their share prices to soar. End result would likely be the ratcheting up of the world Spot and Term contract prices to match the US floor price, in which case all uranium producers worldwide would see their share prices soar.🚀☺️

🤔If I'm reading this right, Trump's idea here is to slow US #Uranium imports✋ by securing new sales agreements with foreign suppliers🧾 with high price floors to stop them dumping cheap uranium into the US, thereby incentivizing domestic mine supply?💲⏫⚛️🇺🇸⛏️🏭🧑‍🏭 Am I right?😊

John Quakes@quakes99

Pow!🌏💥🥊 Today #Trump ordered US Commerce & US Trade Representative to jointly negotiate agreements to address the threatened impairment of #NationalSecurity by foreign imports of #Uranium and other Processed #CriticalMinerals (PCMDPs) including setting "price floors for trade in critical minerals and other trade-restricting measures."🎆😲 They are "authorized to take all actions that are appropriate to implement and effectuate this proclamation"🤺🇺🇸⚛️⛏️🤠🐂 👉whitehouse.gov/presidential-a…

Highlighting 3x Key points @LeahWald and @DavidVGreely made today on Smarter markets pod. 1. Full Digital Title is a DIRECT CLAIM on the tokenized asset. Legally Enforceable. 2. Taking 3-5% of the required liquidity out of the market infrastructure should increase the velocity of collateral and increase the velocity of trade because of the freed up capital. 3. Marrying VERIFIABLE IDENTITY to the title and the title to the asset, frees the asset to move around inter-jurisdictionally with the safety of a direct legal claim. @abaxx_exchange @abaxx_tech @abaxx_spot @JoshCrumb @JoeRaia5 @carriejaqs

Hard to appreciate the significance unless you’ve been a long term shareholder through the thick and thin. If you’ve been a long term shareholder this feeling is hard to express, almost like the feeling you have when you hit a major life milestone I’m proud and so grateful for the hard work that the Abaxx Exchange/Tech team’s have completed to get us to this point. Well done, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! globenewswire.com/news-release/2…

‘Bazball’ is the swashbuckling, combative brand of cricket brought to the English Test side by its head coach Brendon McCullum. As Général Bosquet said of the ‘Charge of the Light Brigade’ during the Siege of Sevastopol in 1854: “C’est magnifique, mais ce n’est pas la guerre: c’est de la folie”. blindsquirrelmacro.com/p/testing-time…
