To #H1B workers: Paying taxes is NOT charity. Staying in job for 10 years is NOT qualification for a green card. Green card is not your right. It is a privilege. US citizens will decide how US government should allocate green cards not foreigners on temporary visa. @WCWOA

@PlumbNick 💯 The moment they arrive on a student visa, their primary focus shifts to securing a green card rather than studying. It seems driven purely by financial gain and a lack of any interest in cultural integration

@KevinGarssia They’ll do damn near anything to avoid it from what I can tell. In all my time in tech, I’ve known of only one who returned and that was only because of a sick parent and no other options.

India was privileged by having our Secretary of State visit, so in typical Indian fashion their media decided to ask him a question about racist comments coming out of the United States. Funny - they’ll confront our top diplomat over Trump’s “hellhole” repost, but somehow never confront the choking pollution, crumbling infrastructure, street safety crises and poverty which is driving so many Indians to the “racist” US in the first place. x.com/sidhant/status…

@jackjaypalmer I couldn't agree more, Jack. I would choose to hire a entry-level American college graduate over an H1B visa holder coming from India every time.

I want to reiterate. As I testified to Congress, In my 23 year IT career I managed over 3k H1Bs. Of the 3K there were maybe 15 to 20 that were qualified. Everyone else were "freshers" and their English efficiency was 10% or less. You could not put them in front of the client. They worked 8 hours on-site and 10 hours at night online back to India to accomplish their task. @AAGDhillon @amandalouise416 @BMooreSenate @1819News @USTechWorkers @iaproject @thencamekevin @RealWaKhan @ChiefEngineerCE @NeilMunroDC

Imagine playing by all the rules in your home county - the United States and are living the American dream. You’ve done in all right, worked yourself into a career and position that provides for your family and is paying the bills and enabling you to pay ridiculous amounts of taxes. Then you’re laid off because the company you work for can hire younger visa dependent workers at the bottom of the pay band. Now your kids have to sacrifice and decisions have to be made by you. Then, memebers of Congress simp for foriegn labor and forget who they’re meant to represent.
Rep. Frank Pallone@FrankPallone

If you've played by the rules and lawfully waited for years just for a chance at the American dream, Trump now wants you to leave the country, risk your job, and uproot your family to get a green card. By closing more and more legal pathways to citizenship, Trump keeps betraying America's promise.

The H-1B visa program should reward talent, not fraud. I’ll work with @Sonderling47 to crack down on scams, abuse, and anyone gaming the system at the expense of American workers and taxpayers. Under @VP’s @WHFraudTF, accountability is back. 🇺🇸

@PlumbNick @Cloudwatch199 is a complete fraud. He lectures working Americans while running cover for a broken visa system that benefits corporations over citizens. Claims to be a businessman, yet spends all day online defending policies that undercut American workers.

The people melting down over “no tears on the casino floor” just proved the point. As I say in this video, the current visa system (not limited to H-1B) is a straight-up shit system that traps workers in what feels like indentured servitude. Their entire legal status is tied to one employer and one job, if they lose the gig - they’re gone (or at least they should be). Corporations have been more than happy to take advantage of that leverage. The government failed by letting corporations exploit the system and slowly turn a temporary, non-immigrant visa into a de facto citizenship conveyor belt. However, none of that changes the fundamental reality: H-1B was designed as a short-term, non-immigrant visa. Come for a fixed period, a three year term, stack serious cash in the world’s highest-wage economy, then go home. What’s now being labeled as instability wasn’t a bug, it was the entire deal. The second we blurred the line with endless extensions and green-card pipelines, we created exactly the entitled mentality you see in this post. Non-immigrant workers gladly took the big American paycheck, the lifestyle, the opportunity - then started calling the terms they signed up for “exploitation” and demanding permanent status. Past mistakes shouldn’t force the future. A temporary visa should always mean a temporary stay. When you come for the casino, you cash out and leave when your time is up. Enforce the time limit, allow no pathways, accept no imported entitlement and stop enabling corporate exploitation. If we can’t manage this, then pause it all and accept no one else until the loopholes are closed and we see what AI is going to do to the labor market.

@PlumbNick Our leaders sold out American workers for cheap labor and unchecked immigration, and now ordinary citizens are paying the price. If we don’t put our own citizens, jobs, and communities first again, the anger boiling across this country will grow stronger. civil war can breakout

@PlumbNick Most likely they will come up with some kind of exceptions on H1Bs and F1s doing change of status. Big Tech companies are too powerful.

It seems @USCISJoe did not even read his own agency’s publications on why adjustment status was adopted and why it exists today. No one should be shocked when this “policy” is enjoined next week. uscis.gov/policy-manual/…

Message to American college students interested in these tech jobs: Don’t bother.

This year’s H-1B season is wrapping up, and we’re seeing great results from @POTUS’ new policies that prioritize America First! Stay tuned for more updates, but here’s what we’re seeing so far: ✅More top talent: We’re approving more applicants with advanced degrees and higher salaries—especially those who studied at U.S. universities. An overwhelming 71.5% of selected aliens hold a U.S. master’s degree or higher, compared to 57% last year. ✅Stronger workforce: These skilled workers are making a real impact on our economy and we’re closing the door on the low-wage and low-skilled foreign labor pipeline approved under Biden administration policies. This year, only 17.7% of all selected registrations were in the lowest wage category. ✅Restoring integrity: The number of properly submitted registrations plummeted by 38.5%, from 343,981 in fiscal year 2026 to just 211,600 in fiscal year 2027. This data is a clear sign that the days of abusing the program with mass, low-wage registrations are over, and that the program is better serving its intended purpose of attracting highly skilled foreign workers and protecting the wages, working conditions, and job opportunities of American workers. More details coming soon!

@USCIS @StateDept We need to end the ability to do "Change of Status" for Visas. That is the solution. If you are on F1 (OPT) and want to switch to H-1B, you should have to go back to India / China to apply for H-1B. Indians are completely gaming "Change of Status" to never leave the US.

USCIS is applying long-standing law and prior court decisions to require certain aliens with temporary visas who decide they want to permanently reside in the U.S. to return to their home countries to apply for permanent visas through the @StateDept. We're returning to the original intent of the law to ensure aliens navigate our nation’s immigration system properly. Here’s what you should know: uscis.gov/newsroom/news-…

From now on, an alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card for permanent residency must return to their home country to apply, except in extraordinary circumstances. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. When aliens apply from their home country, it reduces the need to find and remove those who decide to slip into the shadows and remain in the U.S. illegally after being denied residency.
