Knights of Columbus and their families joined tens of thousands of pro-life demonstrators in the nation’s capital in Washington, D.C., for the 53rd annual March for Life Friday, Jan. 23. Among the marchers were members of the Knights of Columbus Board of Directors, led by Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly and Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore, and Knights representing various college councils. Welcoming participants to the rally on the National Mall preceding the march, March for Life President Jennie Bradley Lichter introduced this year’s theme — “Life is a Gift” — underscoring the heart of the pro-life movement and reminding marchers of the beauty, goodness and joy of life.
